This is far and away one of the best games I have had the opportunity to play... The open world feel, the difficulty, the music, the art... damn near everything in this game was carefully crafted to pull the player into the world that is Elden Ring.

The difficulty for a dark souls game by FromSoft is one of the easiest in terms of letting you get powerful (or not) before you start tackling bosses. The open world aspect means you dont have to bash your head against a boss for hours just to move on to the next area. If you think something is too hard leave find some gear, get some runes, power up and come back. Yes its not the easiest game out there and some of the bosses are quite challenging even once you have explored and gained alot of gear and level ups, but the main story path and the bosses needed to complete the main story are very doable. This is a great example of taking a formula that already worked (dark souls style game and rpg system) bringing in an open world (that is in fact full of things to do) and just thrusting the player into it. They did a great job.

Excellent competive game... controls make you feel in control despite the absurdity of the concept... easy to learn extremely difficult to master.... keeps you coming back for more as it genuinely feels like its your fault when you make a mistake or mess up making you want to get better. 5 minute matches that with goal stoppage turn into around 10 mins a match or so is a great time and lets you get into another match even if your being outplayed in one... If the game caught your eye give it a try 20.00 is well worth it and will give you something to do for hours on end
