Fun gameplay premise that wears thin after a getting a few hours through career mode. Obviously, this isn't a simulation, but the gimmick of how damage is scaled and dealt wears thin quickly, as does irrational AI competition. AI cars will alternate between driving off track with nobody around them, and perfectly countering any aggressive maneuvers from the player (adjusting their wheels to block your path if you pit maneuver them) and if you spin out on a track, you will be rear-ended non-stop and your car will somehow only come to a halt facing the wrong way or pointed at a wall, and your driver will take 10 seconds to find reverse gear.

You'll race against lots of interesting and cool cars but not be allowed to actually drive them unless you double your money on the game and buy lots of DLC.

If you just want to crash cars, there are much better damage models in other games. If you want a pleasant, repetitive racing game to play, there are much more rewarding arcade racers out there.

I'm not typically one for puzzle games, but this game combines a compelling nostalgia for inherited, old, confusing computers with the challenge of exerting your powers over a tiny and predictable machine. It takes almost all of the fun parts of programming and puts them into a box away from the nastiness of reality. It might even end up convincing you that assembly language is cool.

You don't have to be a programmer to play this. Like Euro Truck Simulator is to trucking, this game is for programming.

A puzzle game that mimics the fun challenges of assembly programming and embedded system design. I'm not usually one to enjoy puzzle games, but this one in particular has been a lot of fun to scratch my head at. The developer went to great lengths to make all of the devices you can use fairly simple to completely understand, though there are always tricks to getting what you want in fewer lines.

Read the manual! Even if you just skim it, go back and read it every time you get stuck.
