Cheaters run rampant. Matchmaking is crap and unstable. Pay to win, and microtransaction hell. Collection event after collection event, designed to milk the whales dry as much as possible. This "game" exists ONLY to make as much money as possible. Not a single other reason. MONEY and MORE MONEY. It's a shame too, because the bones are good. But EA/investor greed kills another thing that could have been good.

I'll start with the positives, because its a short list.
The mocap, facial animation and graphics all around are great. Care was put into expanding and telling the original mafia story, even tho i don't agree with all the voice casting. Overall captures the mafia feel.
Now the bad.
This is a gamebreaking bug ridden, unpolished, unoptimized trash of a console port.
Cover system is 10 years behind the current systems. Default key bindings show that whoever thought of them, never played on PC. Controlling your character can be extremely clunky. Lots of times the game simply doesn't register your key presses, and you have to let go and press several times till it does. Difficulty curve is a roller coaster, with half the game so scripted and so easy you fall asleep. Other times you load a checkpoint literally 30 times because an impossible chokepoint. Motorcycles were added, but I don't know why. Driving them is a chore. Weapon choice is pretty limited as is, but more so when you consider there are only 2 weapons worth using.

It can still be worth playing for the story, but wait for a discount.
