Dont blame Sony solely. Arrowhead Studios knew this would happen. They released the game with PSN requirements but had delayed it. They knew this would happen and many of their community managers still side with PSN. The blame is on both. F them both.

From the surface this game looks like a cheap joke and gag game to play for 10, 20 hours and then never touch again. I thought that when I saw it. However it turned out to be one of the most fun games I have played in a while.

PalWorld is a survival game with touches of other genres in it such as ARK, Factorio, Breath of the Wild, Pokemon, and others. The game looks shallow. Looks like an asset rip off, but its fun. I cannot express this ENOUGH. THE GAME IS FUN. Nothing else matters when it is FUN. Gaming was invented for FUN and this hits the nail on the head. I sunk 10 hours into it without break on the first day which I havent been able to actually give my full attention for that long to a game for a very long time.

There are a few bugs but they are minor. The game is actually pretty polished for early access and has a lot to offer to keep you entertained. I can't wait to see more.

The only con right now is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the lag because of the amount of players with servers being hosted on Epic Games.

I had high hopes for this game, I wanted this game for years and finally got to buying it. What I played was extremely disappointing. Lack luster graphics, extremely underwhelming audio (Seriously the first mission you crash into the ship ripping and tearing layers of the metal hull to get to the room your in and you barely get a sense of that through the audio and a few screen shakes). The gameplay is repetitive and boring.

Way too grindy. Takes months just to get somewhere enjoyable; atleast you think. Come to find out its not because repair costs are so high that you have to have a perfect game to get money. Extremely predatory practices forces players to pay money to have a good time.

Never got the hats. Glitched DLC

Now that I have 1000 hours I am editing my review. The year is 2023 and the game is about 4-5 years into its lifespan. My honest opinion is that is still very very fun. If you are new getting into this game its going to be rough. Especially if you play to get good. People have honed their skills for thousands of hours and will destroy you. However the meme potential in this game is amazing. I recommend you just meme and don't take it too seriously. The combat is easy to learn extremely hard to master. You will have to pour THOUSANDS of hours into the game to master it. Enjoy the ride.

Amazing game. A lot of good changes from Verdun that has helped. The whole gameplay being changed from static warfare of trench fighting waiting for one team to attack to attacking whenever you want and controlling points is really fun. It has changed it from a slow game to a fast game. The addition of bots in the server so you never play a game with only 5 people was another great change. The battles are always large scale. The guns are fun to play with and are very unique. Gameplay is fluid and nice. Overall it's a really fun game and a different pace from Verdun.

The only con so far is the optimization. Could use better optimization.
