Whew. Folks, listen. Perfect gameplay loop. It has the replayability of a roguelike without any of the random nature. Go into the world and adventure your heart out until you've memorized every stretch of road and every moveset. Revel in the smooth controls and settle in to one of the best games ever made.

Imagine getting to play MORE Elden Ring. Are there are couple silly bosses? Yeah. Is there a separate method to make your character stronger? Yes. Is it too hard at any point? Not at all. Approach it with the same caution you approached Margit and the dragon at the lake and you're golden.

You can use the number pad to assign costs without having to use the mouse wheel :)

I went into RCP with optimism. Reading other reviews about developers being open to new features had me excited to see a budding Twitch game grow into a powerhouse of integration and features. Unfortunately, after some brief interaction with the game and developers, I have to say that neither met those expectations.
The game itself is uncomfortable. The physics of the coins don't feel 'quite' right, the UI resets to a pile in the corner of your screen every boot, and the in-game lighting shifts between inconsistent and entirely game-breaking. You'll find yourself booting the game just to apply settings and see a difference. Customization is hard-locked to the handful of brick, wood, and carpet textures you're allowed, as well as a reflective green screen that bakes a green hue onto the lighting. I was informed that they would be making it less shiny, though. I was also informed, however, that there would be no addition of physical machine features, and that any inclusion of custom commands was 'the opposite of what we intended to set it out to be'.

Finding Twitch interactive games seems like a constant search. Unfortunately, that search doesn't end here. My recommendation is to avoid this coin pusher in favor of others with Twitch integration.

EDIT: I'm at over 200 hours now, easily. I've added fish to a total of 345 catches. This is the best twitch integrated game I've ever played. Marbles on Stream could never.

EDIT 2: Here I am 2470 hours into fishing, and I honestly can't express how solid it is. Always more fish to add, more ideas to add around it. I had a stream based around this game alone for maybe two months, running 24/7. Literally get it.

EDIT 3: Over 4000 hours in. Need I say more?

It's as good as you hope it is. If you can cut backgrounds off images, the world is your oyster, and not the ones you catch. 10/10

This is a silly little game for silly little people. Very silly. And fun. Also all of the dogs are public domain! Take that AI. These pups can't be contained.

I sat here for three hours, and I played through an entire singular run of the game. I like to guess how stories end, the big twist etc etc. This story did a great job of feeding that desire while also not allowing it to ruin my experience once I got a couple of things right. Great game, give it a play if you can handle something as spooky as Fran Bow.

Early Access Review
Easily one of the best online-only experiences from this decade and the last. A focus on unique online games and experiences leave the player (me) coming back time and time again. I enjoyed Tower before it was an independent game, and I look forward to enjoying it as it leaves early access into a complete package. Whatever that could mean for such a massive experience.

So I originally played this game back in January of 2022. It was an insightful perspective on isolation and is presented in a cute art style too!

Then, I met this lady at the bar. She invited me back to her house, and basically made me leave this review, even though I TOLD HER I already played the game, she just kept looping 8-Bit All Star and smiling at me until I did it.

I did what you told me to, now do your part and keep making good games ;)
