This game filled the spaceflight sim hole in my heart perfectly. You can do just about anything from piracy, mining, trade, bounty hunting to exploration, and there is still more content coming!


Updated 2022: Content is still being made for the game and the story is progressing with a good future ahead. Odyssey was a rough launch but in the many updates since come to be a great addition.

Its definitely playable without the expansion. You still have the ability to go anywhere, and do mining, piracy, what have you. The expansion currently adds planetary landings on certain planets, engineers (specialized upgrades to modules), and fighters, but you can still play in the same universe as people who have the expansion (just not follow them down to a planet)

Ayy fam is this game is worthless without DLC? I can afford the main game and probably have much hours but I don't know if it's playable without the expansion
