For those who are hard core Dragon Ball fans, this will probably be an instant buy.

For everyone else, I can't recommend it. Here are all the issues I see with the game:

The AI is rather simple minded and easy to beat. Now when I say simple minded, I really mean simple minded. Even on the hardest settings.

For example, if you are playing a ring out tournament the floating disc. When the AI dodges your ultimate ranged attack, they will keep running away from the player until they run out of energy and drop out of the ring or you can just hit them with a special ranged attack while they are flying against the invisible wall, then they will fall. In fact, this is actually a constant issue with the campaign. The enemy will dodge an ultimate ranged attack and head for the hills, literally. This happens almost all the time if they dodge.

More issues that the AI displays. The AI will start short dashing almost in place, attempting to try to figure out the path it needs to take to the player. This can happen 10+ times. In extreme situations the AI just stands there and does absolutely nothing until you move or use a ranged attack on them. Typically they will take the hit from the attack. 20-40 times out of 100 matches this has occurred.

NPCs will sometimes ignore big hits. Sure they will take some damage but they will still be on top of you. I've also seen animations hit the AI and explosions happen, as the AI jumps behind the player and there will have been no damage taken.

Directions. If the NPC is directly above or below you, your attacks will almost always miss. The game struggles with this. Special attacks like paralyzes constantly fail unless they are directly in front of your character.

Contested beam attacks, if you win there is a chance that your character will be winded (aka breathing heavy and can't move) while the enemy has already recovered.

Sometimes the player gets stuck and I am not talking about in the terrain. This can happen when the player recovers from knock back or dodges in mid combat. It is rather rare but out of over 100 matches, it happened about 3-5 times. There was no visible animations so it wasn't from some sort of ability or stun. It could be a stun with a broken animation, or something of that nature, but always happened after I basically did a reactionary move. After being stuck, then NPC would hit me and everything was fine.

Interface lag. If I am fully powered up and do a special move, then immediately try to do a Ultimate the game will forget I am holding RT. This causes the character to spasm as I tap the button block button. Even when I let go of the RT and then return to holding it, the game doesn't always recognize it. Sometimes I can do the Ultimate right after but a lot of the times the game just struggles with this. One of my biggest pet peeves with technology is something not registering the first attempt to do something.

They boast 180 characters, but the campaign is only for less than 10 characters. All the rest of them are basically for PVP. I expected a rather robust and in depth campaign for at least half of the characters. I was a little disappointed.

Other than all that... it is a fun game! lol
