Simple one of the (if not the) best colony builder game out there.

This game might be a little outdated, but its still very fun to play (specially with friends) and a not very common type of gameplay

This game is worth it, if this game is your thing. I recommend looking it up and deciding if you like this sort of thing.

if the awnser is yes then you can savely get this game. Far as I've played I have not encountered any game breaking bugs. There is a small but nice community, and plenty of things to do even tough it is EA (some of the avialable mod packs help to if your playing solo, most publicly hosted servers also run mods)

This game is amazing, the sheer scale of the factories you can build, the complexity and all the moving parts are mind boggling. There really is no limit about how big you can build your factory. How far your trains can go and how much you can pollute the planet (Somehow more pollution leads into more bullet consumption).

I don't think there are any other games out there right now that match up with this scale. And I'm sure none of them can run as smooth. This game is a must buy if you enjoy tower defense, automation, puzzles and wiping out alien civilizations with the power of smog.

Those who know me (you as reader most likely not) would not say I’m not a emotional or weak hearted person. Movies, series and games are usually something I enjoy to get my mind of things or to just get some rage out of my system. But this game….It learned me what a ‘emotional rollercoaster’ actually is.

In the game you play a young girl/woman by the name of Max. She is a general hipster kind of person who want to become a photographer and moved back to her childhood town to study at Blackwell Academy. Starting at the beginning of the game, certain events will happen and you will find out that you have the power to mess with time. A interesting concept but not the greatest thing this game has to offer (Mind you the time mechanics are still very good, other things are simply even better). I will not spoil any of the story details but when you are playing you can expect to be: Gasping for air in surprise, smiling with joy to your screen and (I’ll be man enough to admit this) fight back a tear once in awhile. Those different emotions are what makes this game so amazing. The story, characters and voice acting are so well done that they will grab you, tear you along and spit you out just to do it all over again in the next episode.

I’m aware that there are movies, series and books claim to do this. I agree that there are some books and movies around that can make people think or feel certain things. However its a set story, you cannot change or alter it. You can just read or watch along and hope all will end well. This game ads the power of interaction. You will constantly have to make decisions and those will have major (and unforeseen) consequences throughout the entire game (choices from episode 1 still mather in episode 2, 3, 4, and 5). This is what truly got me and what no game or movie ever achieved before. When I finished a episode I would just be staring to the end credits, and later the menu screen. Wondering if I choose the right things and what impact those might have in the episodes to come.

As for some technical things:
  • The soundtrack is amazing
  • The art in this game is amazingly well done
  • Voice acting / story are 10+ (specially with the killer soundtrack)
  • I took about 4 hours per episode (so A total of 20 hours for the game)
  • Before playing this: don’t ready walkthroughs, don’t watch youtube for it, don’t go google...just play the game first and let it happen
  • Best to be played alone and with good sound (A good headset or some serious speakers)
  • DON’T play all episodes in one go. Play a episode and then wait a day or two before starting the next. Have your mind ponder about it a little and see what happens.

All in all I would say this game is a must play and in my opinion it should be game of the year.
