good and fun so far

This game is awesome I think

Negatives:
The story and world are a mess, it plays a feels like a poorly thought out and nonsensical fan-fiction, where they just put in as many random things from the HL series as they could. It felt like a lot of it was just included so they could go "LOOK GUYS THIS THING FROM THE HALF LIFE UNIVERSE IS HERE!!! DO YOU GUYS GET THE REFERENCE????". So much of what was included felt forced and unneeded. The part where you go to Cave Johnson's old home felt like I was pissing on a grave. Also the characters and dialogue are terrible, the main character feels like a self insert "if I was in the Half Life universe I'd say THIS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome line... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I'd sound so cool haha what if....". Reciting memes also doesn't make for great voice lines (shockingly). The AI is also pretty horrible. Whole game felt like I was pulling teeth.

Positives:
The visuals look very good, they kinda fall off in the end in my opinion, but overall it looks very good. The set pieces, they can actually be quite stunning, many of them took me by surprise. The gameplay and combat is serviceable, they have some good ideas as well, being able to kick weapons out of enemies hands is actually pretty sick, just having a kick button in general feels really cool. Fighting the resistance as the combine is actually quite interesting and fun.

this game is honestly pretty horrible, its not scary, the combat is a joke, the bosses are piss easy, ai is broken, death doesnt matter, and the entire game is just painfully sluggish and boring. Also the game crashed a LOT and was just generally super buggy.

Amazing gameplay&style, cant wait for more.

this game just kinda sucks

The game isn't polished and feels worse in most ways compared to boneworks. It isn't worth the $40 price tag.

The best vr game I've played yet.
