The game was already real good prior to Xen release, but now that it is here, Xen makes everything before it look like a prelogue to how amazing the game becomes when going through the Xen levels.

Warning: You can get VR sickness from this game. However when playing I had a beer before that and didn't think about that before playing. With that said and out of the way, that is one of the only downsides so far.

Infinity Fall brins a new kind of way to move around in the VR world, and it is a lot of fun / exilerating to move around in this game. However, pace yourself / play in short intervals because it doesn't feel right when half your body goes through the ground. I found the best way to handle this is to sit / neal on the ground to prevent your mind from being tricked. Keep the room you are playing in cool, and take breaks often.

The game has its pros and cons and I give them credit for the unique concept.

Pros:
-A lot of fun to move around at high velocity
-Gunplay is great and distracts your mind a bit from some sickening points
-I have no idea what is thrilling about moving at high velocities at walls/floors but I love it.

Cons:
-Gameplay starts out slow and took awhile before enemies were introduced
-I have to play in small intervals to prevent sickness

Buy this game. If you were thinking about buying that game that was a dollar cheaper, dont, buy this game.

People seem to bring up main aspects of the game that they do not like. For instance, a friend complained the artstyle is crap. I say big deal, the gameplay, story, music, and humor is great enough that it will distract your mind from the art style the game has decided to choose for itself. I had a complaint that running into monsters like a pokemon game is quite annoying. I agree, it is, but half of the random encounters are actually quite fun to face against because of their dialogue or unique attacks. The fighting system itself is unique in itself in where you have to make your heart avoid any white object it can come in contact with. Your heart may change for certain battles to spice things up, and it truely did without being a cheap trick to throw you off.

Honestly, this game is going in my top 5 games of all time. It is a game I will no longer be able to resist if I don't play it every year.

Not a bad game at all. Quake players will definately like the game. Graphics are beautiful, havent noticed any major bugs or lag when playing any server.

plenty of mouse customization, but not a lot of fine tunning for it. Would be nice if I could set it to a decimal if needed.

Hopefully in the next early febuary update when vehicles come in, I can edit the review and say that the game is a good mixture of halo and quake.

As you beat the game multiple times, you find a hidden story to the game and may realize this is the best/darkest game ever.

The gameplay is also really good..

Pros:
-Played 10 hours and the game never crashed once.
-Turned off FPS lock and it made it feel great to play
-Story keeps me going
-Zombies are harder to avoid (can't just jump around like the last 2 game)
-Not constrained all the time to wait for the next set of story events to take place
-6 or 3 days to complete the story (depends on what mode you play on)
-Bosses are more fun to fight than ever
-Good humor comparable to the last 2 games
-Satisfying to kill zombies
-Weapons are not too OP
-Can choose whenever I want to go do side missions

Cons:
-20-30 fps in cut scenes (I got over it quick)
-Hard to drive around half the time, abandoning vehicles can become common if you are not paying attention
-Crowds of zombies will stop your vehicles velocity or bring it to a complete stop

Overall 8/10

EDIT: after going through the complete story, I can safely say this game is worth playing through to see the true ending. After seeing it, this may be the last game in the series. The voice acting is magnificent. I love every character I've run into.

EDIT 2: Found someone wanting to make a porno with zombies. 10/10

Many of the chambers were easy to solve, but the only chambers had me thinking for awhile was the 2nd to last and 3rd to last. Last chamber and ending seemed a bit rushed. It uses the mechanic called surf quite a bit which you may have seen a lot in gmod, cs:s and cs:go which I thought was a bit unecessary.

The voice acting was a bit rough but not completely terrible. It's better than not having any story at all, but the forshadowing kinda getting annoying after the first time. I'd say if you have a few hours to kill, this would be alright, but if you want a challenge then I suggest going back and play custom test chambers on regular portal 2.
