The game was tossed to the side of the road like a half-eaten burger by a publisher that bought out the devs well after the game's release. The story mode is unfinished, versus is unbalanced, and the publisher doesn't have to answer for any of the crap they've pulled. Never buy this game. There's way better fighting games out there.

A truly excellent experience in tension and questioning yourself. It's cheap, so you stand to barely lose anything by giving it a go.

The music adds so much to this game. I never knew I needed that sort of juxtaposition between PS1 gothic horror and high-energy kart racing music.

When someone thinks "nostalgic horror," they usually think of Silent Hill, Alone In The Dark, or maybe even Metroid. This game, however, is nostalgia from a different era: The early-to-mid-2010's. One might not want to call anything from there nostalgia, but it was an era that has come and gone. An era of jumpscares, edge, and obtuse internet content that might appeal to a small niche at best. THAT is what D'Lirium delivers. A trip back to your edgy teenager phase wrapped in an excellent top-down shooter experience. Call it a "joke game" all you want. Once you've played it through, you'd be hard-pressed to deny it's anything short of great.

I was going to recommend this game with a gag review like "strong women p-pretty" but the game genuinely deserves so much more than that. A game hasn't enamored me like this in ages, and it stands as testament to the limitless potential of a program as simple as RPG Maker.

True and honest A+ game. Please just play it, you owe it to yourself if it's caught your interest.
