I nominated this game for "Just 5 More Minutes Award" so it must be good and worth all of your time.

If you can afford it, definitely get the DLC. The DLC offers some awesome looking stuff with this one, especially the Toon color pallet which I feel is the best addition in the DLC along with the Accelerato boost. In general, Psyonix has done a tremendous job with the game and they definitely deserve the support they get.

For me, personally, this is the only company in the industry that I believe deserves additional support from its players. Easily one of the best games of the years.

The game offers a gorgeus looking world that's surrounded by incredible lore. I'm not a big lore fan, as a matter of fact, usually, I cannot stand lore in games. However, Dark Souls 2 lore seemed to be essential to enjoying single player to the fullest. Reading Item descriptions, seemingly gave a face for the enemies that you've just beaten, made them something more than another NPC that you've just fought and forgot about. If lore isn't your thing no matter what, Dark Souls 2 will still keep you interested for a while with it's combat mechanics and bosses as well as PvP. Whether you're a hardcore PvE lover or a seasoned PvP veteran Dark Souls 2 will keep hundreds of hours of replayability after finishing the main story with it's New Game+ modes or general PvP. 10/10

Buy this game. Play it. And tell me you don't like, I will track you down, come to your house, lock you in the basement and make you play it over and over until you learn to love it.
