Complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Tried to resist until I finish the game but couldn't. I am saying this as a person who have read all of the middle earth books including Silmarillion, The Children of Hurin etc when I was younger. Think twice buying it.

I bought this game when it was on Early Access. The game developed soo much since then. They added story mode called "Wintermute" and I loved it. The story and game mechanics are in harmony and they both keeps you interested. Trying to stay alive in the deadly cold of mountains of Canada was amazing for me.
Only thing to say bad about this game is weight problem. The game forces you to put your items away. You might think this is essential for gameplay but I think it's not balanced. The items on your pack are generally important things to keep you alive and if you choose to drop them, you might die. So you have to choose between running fast or risk dying. They solved this in the 3rd episode and added a small pack that you can carry more items but first 2 episodes were torture for me.
Other than that, it's a good survival/story game that you can wander around, talk to people, watch the story and have fun.

Epic soundtrack epic gameplay, story doesn't end though.
