somehow the best big domination game i've played, needs a few more servers for better ping but honestly it's not a huge deal as it's somehow the best netreg i've felt in a while.

somehow an easy recommendation
(warnnig about battle pass and hard to unlock characters quickly even if dropping 50 kills average/game)

cs:go -> cs2 killed macOS support. i used to be able to play it with cs:go but now with cs2 i've effectively been locked out of a game i purchased. and without being able to download cs:go to at least pay against bots means value has effectively removed a game from my library.

insanely anti-consumer and feels incredibly wrong.

newnew review: got it working, if you're on macOS and it isn't launching it's likely because your preferences got bugged af and are basically dead. if you want to fix it navigate to: "~/Library/Preferences/" and delete any files with "krita" in the name. fo rme there was 3: "kritadisplayrc", "kritarc", and one more i can't remember, after which it launches fine! so that's the fix if anyone else needs it

new review: for the last 6 months on macOS krita has refused to launch and crashes constantly on start up after updating, verifying, then a full reinstall. across roughly mid macOS 13 to macOS 14.

after around 6months the application still refuses to launch. **except the fallback version**

after this long across multiple versions i felt i should submit a bug report, and they were active

bug reported. i proved crashlog for said thing macOS gave me because i thought "hey, might be useful"

they switched "general [as in non-specific]" to "* unknown"

someone then changed it back, and made other other changes
-8:37pm;
i'm guessing it was assigned to someone
-8:40pm;
they deleted the crash report, odd, i guess it isn't useful or something

then then cc'd who gave them the task
-8:51pm;
then closed the issue siting "unmaintained"

so, this believes me to believe that either:
a. this version of krita has been abandoned.
b. this version of krita has been made by an unofficial 3rd party so it is an unmaintained cashgrab.

sucked because i really really like the product, krita being my main software of choice, and i still really like it. however this version being literally unusable leads to the question of "why should i/you pay for a piece of software that is broken?".

if they fix this, i will come back and update my review, but at the time of writing the software is borked.

until then just download it or install it using a pkg manager like homebrew i suppose-
