So far it's great.

It's really fun game to play - especially with good friends and people you can trust. If you play solo - always check flank, if you don't do this - nobody will. Dying in this game from small bullet holes or really weird/tight angles is a normal day so if you're going to play this game - just accept the fact you are going to die from most ♥♥♥♥♥♥ scenarios and places.

I must say community is pretty toxic. Even in mindless casual people can vote you off if you play... bad or for fun. The worst part is like everybody tells you what to do, but most of the time if you follow their rules - you die. It seems like community thinks they know a lot, but they're just bigger ♥♥♥♥ than you are so better mute them sometimes and play as your heart/brain tells you to.

This game has really painful learning curve. You can learn a thing or two from youtube, but to really understand how the game is played - you really need to die several times and rage quit. The most important thing is not to give up. Just keep grinding and playing. What can I say? I consider myself a bad player so you shouldn't take this opinion about this game from me on high level.

I must agree this game is a way better alternative than cs:go i played like 3k hours. It also contains smurfs that play like gods, but after the match you played with them, they got their balls valuated so you never encounter them again until they feel like ♥♥♥♥ again.

Hi!
I think it's time to write some stuff about this game. Please, ignore my hours spent in-game. I have them more than you think. I've started playing way before Module 5 on non-steam version.

The game is great. Leveling UP your character is very simple if you follow up main story line and even easier if you constantly take part in Random Queue. I strongly recommend joining the guild when you can meet very friendly people who will help you rise. Dungeons are pretty repeatable, but you should do them to get some Astral Diamonds. They're also hard. I've played a lot of as a DC (Healer) and on hard dungeons I get oneshotted if my tank is bad player (tbh it never happens as every player right now knows how to play).

Campaigns have nice story if you are patient enough to read it all in your journal, but doing them is just typical grinding. You need to repeat the same stuff over and over again unless you gain enough reputation points, campaign currency to progress and level up your gear score.
- I am not a patient person, but when I do daily missions I don't complain. These missions are fast and easy. It will take you 3 minutes + few minutes to come shown place.

Skills and mechanics - It's something I very appreaciate in this game. It's a thing that requires some skill to do a good rotation. Every character has different skills and skill "bar" which you can fill by dealing damage and then use your full charge to enhance your skills to grant them a better effect.
Non-target is also a great thing here. Neverwinter is a great game with non-target. You need to aim at your opponents to cast your skills. It's a big advantage as in other games you need to press LMB to choose target and then spam skills in 1 place to kill it. (AION is weak in that stuff for example).

There is a big CON Neverwinter has. Despite the fact that everything can be earned by playing (for free) you can grind A LOT of time to get your stuff you want, but still there can be a rich kid from Germany that will spend 1 000 $ and in 1 week he will be at your position in progress.
Neverwinter IS NOT pay2win, but it's most likely "Pay To Get All Faster" game... I think all F2P games have those rules...

In case of PVP I'm not gonna lie;
I didn't play PVP since for a year or more. PVP in that game is for EndGeared players. Glowing weapons, armours, insane output damage...
If you hit level 70 and you have low EQ... Just don't go there. You will be oneshotted instantly. It's totally without any fun.
Balance does not exist in Neverwinter in terms of PVP.
PVP on 10-19, 20-29, 30-39 etc. is pretty nice experience. There were not people with enchanted weapons and these were the most satisfying games ever as I remember after year of break or more.

Community: Overall - greatness. Very helpful. Most of cases they're mature people. I hardly ever meet kids... Well... They probably play For(kids)nite.

Well, what else I can say... You can be a GOD in that game if you play A LOT and constantly (free items and events). If you play with breaks - you will s... :)

Edit 20th of March 2022:
Game is heavily pay2win. Developers don't listen to the community, they're are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Never say sorry. Gameplay is nice, fits well D&D. Mechanics are cool for each individual class. Grinding is real, like in Korean MMORPG. Progress is being reseted every new Mod as new armors and weapons come in so your old EQ is never relevant for new content. Chasing it and then getting disappointed next update is just a nail to the coffin. I may come back to this game from time to time, but there is literally nothing that can keep me playing it over n over again.
Cool game to play with friends, but repetition, grinding daily 100k of AD is just making it boring and extremely time-gated for average person not spending a single penny on this game.
