It started off fun, but the constant changes all geared towards monetization caused it to devolve into a boring grind if you had any hope of keeping up.

It has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, throughout my time playing it, multiple bugs require frequent game exits. VR player can't see and help bugged out PC players and PC players can't see VR bugs. Too many game-breaking bugs and these are bugs that have been around for quite a while. When it works, it's great, but good luck. Unless troubleshooting games while your friends wait for the game to start sounds like fun to you, I don't recommend.

I've now played this game the second most per my Steam stats. Only Crusader Kings II has more time, at double the time and I suspect that's more to do with the difference in how it is played. CKII is a long term game, RL is just 5 mins at a time, one more match at a time. Obssessed with Snow Day.

It's short, but it's really good. My wife and I both sat on our couch playing this game. It was really neat to see the game's story unravel so slowly in response to our queries and interesting to consider how it unraveled in a particular way just for us and how we think. Still not certain what happened.

I Kickstarted it with dreams of Curse of Monkey Island and Grim Fandango. Act 1 alone does NOT reach even half of my dreams. I'd wait until Act 2 before making a final judgment, but it would be weird for the game to suddenly jump in difficulty and length. I think having only one way to interact with the environment seriously cuts interaction down significantly and it just can't be remedied without a rethink. (Tablets could always do a long-press...Scumm runs on tablets...)
