an outcry is a very poignant and powerful narrative game, but not one i'd expect most people to appreciate. if intersectionality has any meaning in your life, you'll probably fall in love with it. otherwise most of the themes will fly over your head, and those themes and the way they're explored really are the core and heart of the game. The art and music is amazing as well.
the game's really not without flaws. it will be outright mean and antagonistic to the player for making the wrong decision *once* or for not knowing about a hidden mechanic. getting scolded by the developper for exploring the choices offered or not doing something i didn't even know i could really left a sour taste in my mouth, but admittedly it would have been impossible to sanitize the experience considering how sensitive the subjects it touches are. its a bold game and i deeply respect it for that.

If you're interested in playing it, i HEAVILY suggest you pick "FOLLOW" at the crossroad decision right after the prologue, and go explore the other option once you're done with your first playthrough. i promise you'll be a lot less upset if you go about it that way
