Do NOT buy this! The company has closed, the Discord, is gone, game is no longer purchaseable, and is shutting down.

The dlc was supposed to be the only monetary cost originally. I come back to the game, and it is now still listed as "free", but in fact you can't play 99.9% of it or do really ANYTHING of consequence without buying dlc first. "Hey, have a long *** tutorial and garbage tutorial level map to play. Oh, you wanted what you've BEEN playing? Pay up sucker!"

Go play Marauders, or Dark And Darker, at least you don't have to buy extra crap to enjoy the game

If you ARE looking for a near impossibly hard survival game, I say go for it. But be warned, you won't even be able to use the traders with the currently garbage Fame Point system.
The game is fun and all, but there are glaring and persistent problems they will not publicly deal with.

If they can fix the glaring issues instead of "improving" health systems, adding annoying features no player asked for (i.e. the god awful fatigue system), and basically making it IMPOSSIBLE to progress without going to end game areas with a handmade bow for fame points (seriously, go watch Luthais's video, FP are impossibly hard now), I'd recommend it more. But with every "feature" the game becomes less user friendly. It seems as if they are catering to themselves more than the players nowadays, unlike back when they did listen and things worked.

In short, play it I suppose, but expect a very frustrating time.

Game was great until newest update. People could play how they wanted. Now, because some whiny babies whose sole goal is to camp airlocks or pvp they forced an update that makes you change how you play (unless you are aforementioned noob hunters). They have essentially turned it from an extraction shooter into a battle royal, which is going to cause a sharp decline in player like every other game that did the same. Seriously, unless you want a cheater, camper, troll filled battle royale, stay away.
Update: Still the same b.s. but worse. Before you think Im full of it, look at Steam stats for this game. After the update that introduced an exit gate timer, player pop started to decline rapidly. Stop pandering to the minority of campers who only want to ruin people's good time. Or this game is gonna keep declining until you have nearly no player base left. Remove the exit timer.

Was fun for the 3 fing days I got to play. Every daily update, something else broke. Today it totally broke, removed a file, and FORCED a third reinstall. I started having issues with training cocoon on day one ,that worsened day 2, and now cannot even get into the game.

Edit: After they supposedly applied an update, it seems okay but still gets very hinky when trying to load cocoons or people. People look like black ghosts half the time

What was once a fun guild based mmo with fun grinding mechanics has turned into not only an arena combat focused game, like every other money grubbing sellout, but the developers give 0 f***s about you when you have any issues. You can report hackers, bugs, exploits, and either get no reply or told "too bad" Due to developer/design error, for example, I lost mid to high tier things. Their reply was that they wont replace or compensate.

Cannot access ANY of the levels. They are all locked and unselectable!

Devs are obviously doing these changes for themselves. And a few whiny trolls possibly. These horrendous updates prevent the enjoyment alot of us once felt using this software.

I tried for almost an hour, and it just doesn't seem to want to work. Cute design, cute voice. That's it.
1. Purchased a few outfits, once she has put them on and changed, they disappear forever. They do not appear in the clothing options

2. FREQUENT FREQUENT black screens and crashes to desktop with no error at all in desktop mode

3. Trying to play in native vr mode causes IMMEDIATE crash to desktop w/ no error

4. The little bit I did get to play had horrendous movement and "detection" she seemed to react to me being "bad" or "frisky" when I did nothing

Overall, even on sale it wasn't worth it. I wouldn't play this if it was FREE as it is.
