game is good, ai is a little hard sometimes but still able to solo and server hosting is easy and simple and streamlined and is generally unrestricted

i watched my friends drown and then i helplessly watched my friends get slaughtered by an automated turret.

10/10 would lose my friends again

tbh slow even for an idle game

art and ui are nice and progression is fun when you do actually make progress that isn't marginal or at a snail's pace. achievements are nice but be prepared to have this game on for five million years.

it's only a good morning when i am out fishing

therefore in this game it is always a good morning.



10/10 best farming sim turned into fishing sim

it's free and easy and the ui while ugly is pretty simple and not too cluttered

game is extremely fun but somewhat unplayable in its current state

- local host server forces players to spawn near host with no settings to disable this and regardless of whether or not host's computer can run the server
- game has poor weather optimization, noticeable framedrops when raining but otherwise runs very smoothly
- everything in the wild is so tanky but when you tame an npc it reverts back to level 1 with literally none of the hp, it's like the generic game trope of fighting a hard boss and unlocking him as a playable character or companion who just happens to be watered down and useless
- world just seems lifeless and dead, not enough npcs or poi
- hitboxes are still funny
- vehicles are just too slow
- christmas event is dumb, the lootbox skin ruins immersion and the santa claus that spawned gave my friend a heart attack (RIP Steven, 1923-2023)
