Crap game. This game does not even deserve to be $5 and if I could give it a lower review than a thumbs down, I would.

- Game softlocks you in some places (money required to buy a certain item to get to the final level) and in one instance you have to go looking for unintentionally hidden entrances to previously missed areas
- Controls are a mess, you have to guess where everything is
- Zero attention to detail or going back to fix errors/mistakes (There are a lot of spelling and grammatical errors)
- Character sprites have inconsistent sizes and proportions
- Character icons and sprites don't match
- Story is okay but both the story and character names lack any imagination/creativity
- Dialogue sucks, gives the vibes of being written some edgy 12 year old chronically on Wattpad/AO3
- Music is okay but inappropriate for some sequences

You thought Valorant was CSGO with anime characters? Just wait till you hear about Strinova!

The Ups:
- Recently released so alive and active (RIP GunEvo)
- Devs update somewhat regularly and care about the game (RIP GunEvo)
- Generally bug-free
- Mix of Overwatch and CSGO but with anime girls (and 3 guys) for the Gen Z gooners
- Decent balancing
- Varied skillsets/abilities that fits most playstyles
- Fun variety of grenades
- Fast-paced for the Gen Z gooners with attention-deficit
- Decent and at least half the time not toxic but sometimes overly-brainrotted community of gooners
- Interesting and fun maps even if they are basically copies of CSGO and Valorant map layouts
- Intuitive agent classes
- Fast TTK without being broken
- Graphics, maps, character models and other details are pretty good and pleasant to look at (saying this at the risk of sounding like a degenerate)
- Interesting map effects such as teleport, water slowing you down, "out-of-bounds" areas, etc
- Cool "Stringify" mechanic where you can glide or stick to walls. You are made of paper.
- Cool lore
- Tons of cool in-game achievements that you can use to decorate your player card
- Very well-optimized, game can run well on a NASA supercomputer or a baked potato
- Great server locations and optimization

The Downs:
- No fishing or fishing minigame
- Horrible/confusing menu and lobby UI that's all over the place. Have to dig around just to find literally anything regarding customization and stats. Have to go into wiki or testing range (waste of time) to see all weapon stats instead of having it in agent menu. Global chat is shoved down your throat by default and can be buggy or laggy even when not busy.
- Sometimes awkward switch from the default 3rd-person shoulder/hipfire to a 1st person ADS
- Sometimes awkward grenade aiming
- Occasional balance issues (such as Michele's abilities and ult, Flavia's abilities, etc. Some agents are very underwhelming to play as or against while some have it extremely good everywhere)
- Not enough cosmetics for some characters while some have a ton (it's clear which ones are the devs' favorites)
- For some people (especially F2P), agent and cosmetic grind takes an extremely and infuriating long time.
- No PVE gamemode (yet?) despite high player demand for it.
- Content from Chinese servers can take a while to reach NA
- No Steam achievements for my fellow achievement hunters.

Notes:
- Can be very sweaty
- Can be very degenerate and goonery (looking at you Matt)
- Microtransactions, while not necessary, are required for acquisition of most "good" cosmetics and to speed up agent grind. I mean, it is a gacha game after all so come into this game expecting that.

Final Scores:
8.5/10 competitive shooter - Combines some of the better elements of CSGO/Valorant and Overwatch such as balancing, variety and optimization. Can sometimes get very sweaty and occasionally toxic.
9/10 waifu game - Need I say more? (kinda still needs more male characters. only 3 at time of writing)
7/10 if you're looking for a game to chill with friends or play brainlessly - 5 player parties. Can get sweaty.
8/10 gacha game - Gambling is bad but this game does it decently. They are upfront about rates, prices, etc but some of the more common rewards are mediocre or very bad. This game may end up being a money sink for some folks.
5/10 achievement hunt - In-game achievements are plentiful but there are no Steam achievements. Will edit in the future if this is changed.
6.5/10 story game - Story, lore and worldbuilding seem decent BUT: Access to story is kinda all over the place due to bad UI design. Some things are impossible to replay again (or just impossible to find), such as some of the main intro cinematics.

Fun and engaging open world survival with some slight pacing issues. Has fishing.

The Ups:
- Good fishing minigame - kinda like Stardew Valley
- Beautiful game - you can look in any direction, take a screenshot and still be able to put it on a good postcard
- Simple yet fulfilling map design and lore
- Cool planet/map design
- Insane amount of content and depth - massive tech tree, massive talent tree
- Talent tree and gear fits any playstyle and anybody can specialize into whatever they want (fishing main here)
- All weapons and tools feel satisfying to use - there's a bit of heft to everything
- Intuitive and easy to figure out despite no real hand-holding
- Voicelines/voice acting during missions is really good
- Constant, pretty much weekly updates and support from devs
- Pretty well-optimized
- Fills out your co-op craving while still having room for shenanigans with friendly fire - still has room for solo gameplay, especially with the solo talent tree that helps compensate for your lack of friends (you know who you are)
- Larkwell Martinez Ballistic Arrows (the ones that go kaboom)

The Downs:
- No fishing rod variety
- Walking sim (seriously, no vehicles??)
- Mission select UI is inconsistent - some missions tell you exactly what you need to do while some are misleading
- Buggy trees and dropped items - sometimes you chop a tree down and it flings away or you drop an item and it goes through the ground
- Sometimes weird hitboxes on animals for their heads or other parts (see: deer antlers)
- Sometimes weird hitboxes on terrain, trees and rocks - sometimes you get stuck on a rock and die while fighting an animal because you're floating in mid-air
- Map boundaries occasionally seem lazy or uncreative - such as the Riverlands-to-Arctic area and the waterfall in the Conifer region that has a ton of non-collide parts
- Some weird balancing stuff - Non-firearm weapons (especially axes and pickaxes) should do more damage, some animals are too easily killed (see: wolves, which are also too small to be believable wolves) while some are ridiculous bullet sponges (see: scorpions). Also, item decay for dried food items should be longer. Literally just fancier cooked food items at their current state.

Final scores:
8.5/10 open world survival - combines the best elements of other games of the genre like Rust or ARK without keeping too many of their bad elements. has fishing.
6/10 if you're into missions only - a lot of them are mostly walking sims or require you to stare at the ground for stuff that is super easily missed (cough KILL LIST: Extermination) or require a lot of grinding outside of the mission
7/10 for achievement hunting
7/10 for fishing minigame/sim

Basically WoT but with anime girls.

The Ups:
- Usually fluid and smooth movement
- Intuitive skills, vehicles and controls
- Characters come with their own unique skills and have an exact mirror of the opposite gender to go with your preferences
- WW2 lore but with Anime girls (and guys)
- Somehow managed to be respectful and tasteful about WW2 geopolitics
- Vehicles and their hitboxes are pretty well-modeled and have a unique "drawn" artstyle to them
- Decent voice acting
- Plethora of easy achievements

The Downs:
- Bots have room temperature IQ (both team and enemy)
- You pretty much ONLY play as the Germans
- Random invisible walls that force you to go through the devs' desired path despite having no real purpose
- Sometimes feels like a walking/crawling sim
- Hitboxes and hitscan/hitreg can be weird: your AP or APCR rounds often get stopped by a wooden fence
- Game takes itself a little too seriously despite many grammatical errors and story/dialogue inconsistencies, characters lack depth

Final scores:
6.5/10 if you're looking for a story-oriented game
7/10 if you're looking for relatively easy, brainless tank/vehicular combat to zone out in
9/10 if you're achievement hunting

only good clanker is a dead clanker. only good bug is a dead bug.

good game but bugginess and crashes sometimes render the game unplayable.

i can't bring democracy to the galaxy when i can't even keep the game open.
