like the premise of the game and the story isn't bad, the characters are decently interesting and the story has some good parts, even though its plot-twists are obvious after the first hour of the game

my main critique is the gameplay because it is not enjoyable
while i do think that the whole system with the different prisms and how you have to collect each one is interesting, my problem is that it has the typical survival horror mechanics without simple stuff like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ map (WHY IS THERE NO MAP?)

the sanity system could be fun if it weren't such an inconvenience
i swear to god there was not once where the sanity system added some thrill. it always just felt like a chore
i also don't get why you would introduce some interesting mechanics like how your sanity goes down in the dark and then just give the character a flashlight and act as if that never was the case??

but the worst thing in the entire game is that terrible final boss
there is not one reason why you would give the player every resource except the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sanity one
if you don't have any flowers with you you are stuck there and that just shows how there are parts in the game that feel incredibly unfinished

i really wanted to like this game and there are definitely some great parts but sadly the bad ones outweigh the good :(

The game, its story and the characters are incredibly impressive! To think that just two people created such a great story is crazy and to then make it free and available for everyone is even crazier. I can totally recommend this to anyone who wants to play something short and cozy with great vibes, an interesting story and beautiful graphics!

Astroneer ist ein sehr schönes Spiel, das man immer zum herunterkommen spielen kann. Meiner Meinung nach eines der Besten Weltraumspiele, das ich jemals gespielt habe!
