"Ex-Zodiac" is an exciting, polished love letter to the classic "Star Fox" series of games, especially the first two titles for SNES and N64. Team MNKY has a keen understanding of what worked for the series that inspired them, while offering a few of their own ideas and quirks as well.
The result is a satisfying, action-packed couple hours of gameplay, with a scoring system that encourages hardcore players to come back for more. Even though it was in the trailer, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the "Space Harrier" style bonus levels!

This game runs excellent on Steam Deck, with a rock-solid framerate and only a couple slight audio issues when lots of sounds are playing on top of each other.

For less than the cost of a couple gallons of gas or a combo meal at a fast food place, you really can't go wrong with "Ex-Zodiac". It offers a fun challenge for anyone who enjoys shmup-style games, and I can't wait to see what the devs do with the title going forward.

This game has aged well. It still stands as a compelling, entertaining, and fun narrative that will leave you feeling satisfied. It doesn't feel too short, and it doesn't overstay its welcome. Probably my favorite of the BioShock series.

Absolutely fantastic. A tight, satisfying experience that rewards many play styles and skill levels. You will die so many times, and you will love it. Excellent music, sound effects, and art come together to create something truly special. Vlambeer really outdid themselves with this neo-retro top-down twitch shooter.

This game is really excellent.
The higher difficulty levels require a highly-competent, voice-coordinated team, but even at the lower difficulties you can get quite a challenge without it ever feeling unfair. There's lots of things to do, especially if you pick up the DLC(do so! It's actually worth it), and the gunplay can be kinda strange but always satisfying.

Also, people who whine about the Cloaker are pansies. He's awesome.
