Shambling Mound when medic tends to use a Wand of Viscid Gobs or Globs. It is a magical weapon created by the mythical Drow or Dark Elves sourced from the original Advanced D&D RPG Module "Vault of the Drow" circa 1980, thx to Gary Gygax. The "Wand", when presdigitated, spews forth great gobs or globs of viscid goo. Those sprayed with the sticky stuff are rendered unable to move or fight because they are adhered in place. The Wand has a range of 60 feet and each glob covers 4 sq ft. Alcohol in great quantities will dissolve the goo. Marijuana will increase the effects of the Wand and add further distance to the spray. Creatures of low intelligence will rip themselves apart in order to free themselves from the viscid mess often leaving vital body parts, like feet, behind.
