SOTS: The Pit is a sci-fi roguelike, but you probably saw that in the description. The important part is that this game's not just a rehash of the old ASCII roguelikes. It's inspired by that rich history, but Kerberos doesn't stop with the classics. The crafting system, lore tidbits, creative enemies, and those frakking Adaptoids all combine to give this game a flavor and flair all its own. I'll freely admit that I've only seen a small portion of this game so far, but I've enjoyed many great deaths.
