I've started learning Japanese and this game helped a lot to memorize Hiragana! It was a really good tool to make this easier, I would really recomend the game! Next stop: Katakana and Kanji battle!

This was the first time for me playing an Star Ocean game and I wasn't sure what to expect and I'm really happy with the game. I'm a really big fan of JRPG, and It's a must for me to have good characters, decent story and good battle system. Star Ocean: The Last Hope accomplish this without doubt.

I really liked the characters, I love the designs and their personalities. Even one of them I wasn't really fond of ended up with a good end and I liked her (Lymle, for those curious). It's really important to do the "social events" through the game to get their endings too, so be careful.
Regarding the story, I also liked it. The setting is a near future in which humanity is looking for new planets to live on since the Earth is dying, and the main character mision is to explore new planets. I thought that there were going to be more of them, but its fine either way.

The battle system was really fun tho, each character is different regarding skills and everything and you can also teach them some extra skills if you like (some of them are really broken lol). The battles are not turn based, which means: action!
The bosses can be pretty interesting to beat. I played on the normal difficulty and some of them were difficult, which is great! I love a bit of a challenge when playing.

In the end, this game was super worth, I got it in the last steam sale and i spend 40 h to beat it. I really hope that we can get more Star Ocean games in steam. I would love to see the last one, Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness, would buy it for sure.

Even since they announced this game, I was hyped. I have been a big fan and supporter of RWBY since the first Red trailer, and even wanting to like this game, is impossible. I cant recommend it.

They said they were going to release the game, but they were going to continue working on it and improving and adding things, and the price would raise when they improved that. I bought it in the summer sale before its increase, and I really shouldnt have.
Im a big fan of this kind of games (Dynasty Warriors, Sengoku Basara etc) and I can play them over and over again, but this game is just boring. The story is not good, you are repeating the same ♥♥♥♥ over and over again (the enemies are just the same all the time, you have few combos...).
And now they release the JNPR team, but hey! You have to pay 5 more bucks. Just for those characters. Are you kidding me? You say that you are going to improve the game and you just realease a DLC so I have to pay even more for this game?
Honestly, buy it only if you have a lot of money to spend or Its at 2-5 euros in any sale, If not, really, is not worth unless they start doing some good ♥♥♥♥.

This game (as well as First Chapter since you can't separate the games) is one of the best JRPGs out there, not only in steam.

If you like a really good-developed characters, really good plot, entertaining and dinamic turn-based combat system and really good OST, this is your game.

TLoH: Trails in the Sky SC concluding the story arc of Liberl and the background and development of most characters. It improves/balances a bit the combat system and introduces new and great characters.

Just play the game. Both FC and SC have a really good price and you will not regret it.
I hope this game sells enough so XSEED can localize more of these games.

PS: LOVE IS ETERNAL!
