Citizen Sleeper is in essence a virtual novel with board game mechanics included to give the player agency. They are a combination of worker placement and press your luck. Dice are rolled on each turn and they are the "workers" and the numbers indicate how likely an action is to succeed. There are some light roleplaying and simulation elements but these are kept fairly simplified. Occasionally there are time limits but they are typically generous and did cause undue stress. The story is interesting enough and has elements of space sci fi and cyberpunk. While not completely amazing I found the experience enjoyable and want to see more games from this developer in this series.
