This was my first entry into the Persona series, and to turn based RPG's as a whole. Despite having watched someone play through the ENTIRE game already, I still wanted to play it for myself.

At the time of writing I have just completed the game, yes it really did take 152 hours. Everything from the presentation, the characters, the story, exploration, combat, music and just living day to day is unlike anything I have experienced before. You do NOT need to have any prior experience, or even any knowledge of the franchise to get seriously sucked into this experience and to really enjoy it.

In my whole 150 hour playthrough there were but a handful moments that I was ever frustrated, and those were some of the bosses you come across at the end of some of the chapters. However, where there's a will there's a way, and finally figuring out the trick and beating those bosses was admittedly immensely satisfying.

If you are a tentative newcomer to the franchise then worry not, this game has so much to offer not just in combat, but also in the way you live every-day life and grow closer to the people around you. I'd probably go as far as to say that the "daily life" aspect was my favorite, but when the time came to fight, it didn't feel like a detractor to the rest of the experience. The combat is easy to learn, but not so simple that it gets boring.
