so almost like this: reptilia(reptiles)->archosauria("ruling reptiles"dinosaurs,crocodiles and pterosaurs)->dinosauria(saurischia,ornithoscelida)->ornithoscelida(theropoda,ornitischia)->theropoda(that contain birds)

That's avoiding the question. To answer yours, Dogs produce dogs, and cats produce cats. Dogs don't produce cats ever. So how could Dinosaurs produce birds? Each creature is made after their own kind.
