Town of Salem is a game very similar to Mafia or any of those other games where you try to determine who the evil character(s) is whilst hopefully not killing any innocent players. However, this game becomes a simple means of learning how to manipulate. In Town of Salem, if you receive an evil role, you must learn how to lie and take advantage of any alliances you can get in order to trick the town into going onto your side in order to keep yourself alive. If you receive a good role, you must be able to distinguish lies from the truth.

Very simple, very cute puzzle game. I ran it using the "beautiful" graphics setting (although there are additional, less 'intensive'- if you can call it that- settings for older computers, and the motions seemed very smooth and the sprites are cute and look like something that a child might draw. It's rather endearing.

The only odd mechanic I noticed was the fact that your sprite stops after each block it moves. This can be sort of annoying when you know where you want to go and you can't just hold down a WASD key to get there, but it is helpful to make sure you don't hold it down and propel yourself off the edge. In hindsight, helpful, but while you are playing it feels weird.

There is no soundtrack/music.

Levels do get progressively harder, so much that it took me quite a few tries to complete a later level.

All in all, this is a simple and cute game which I totally reccomend.

NOTE: I usually play single player. The few people I've met on a server were actually pretty nice, but based on other reviews there are a LOT of bad ones. Anyway, if you're looking for a challenge, this game is for you. I might just be bad at this, but 4 hours in I haven't even built my first house yet. I love this game- the amount of dinosaurs present is amazing, albeit slightly annoying when I get attacked out of nowhere. You die a lot in this game (at least in the beginning), and when you do you lose your inventory. However, this is alright because as I can imagine, this game was not meant to be a cakewalk.



Also, according to my little cousin who played this, "THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER"
