Not a Final Fantasy game. More of an easy mode DS? Don't know but it is not a JRPG which is what FF titles are know for. I don't understand why Square keep trying to change what a FF title is, every time crashing and burning.

Past this, the game is not half as bad, great gaphics, but needed to call NASA to use their computers. Kinda slow start... well, perhaps they got this right from the franchise.

More a proof of concept than a game, but seems to be a great idea. I would give a thumbs up for the possibilities more than for what they have right now. When buying this game, in its current state, think of it more as an investiment, a kickstart support, than actually paying for a product.

If you can`t make controllers be as good as keyboard and mouse, make keyboard and mouse as ♥♥♥♥♥ as controllers. Object achieved.

Too soon for a review (for real, less than a day from release and people keeps giving thumbs down because it doesn`t look like EU or HOI?), but before even thinking about starting the game:

The Dark Souls of 4X. Not for the faint of heart or people used to the latest editions of Paradox Grand strategy games. Expect to not know what to do, to fail and to even fail to understand why you failed... it probably started 10 years before.

Current state the game is not super polished but it is a full game to play.

Like a point and click game... minus the game. There is no game.

Cool, and all... but control your expectations.
Chapter 1 is the Tutorial
Chapter 2 is the Game
Chapter 3 is non-existent
Chapter 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, etc. is the playable ending. A very long and pointless playable ending that should have been a CGI.

But there still is a game in chapter 2 and for that alone I give it a thumbs up.
