After so long between the last release, expectation can be super high which can make you feel a little heart broken, but if you go in and take it for what it is, its a great game and per usual modders will enhance what the devs wouldnt or couldnt.

I haven't had any issues with the game, and it's been an enjoyable experience.

TLDR; Game is addicting and can be an absolute blast with friends, but the servers are so messed up you'll crash a lot, or just not be able to connect. Wait to buy.


When the game works, it's absolutely phenomenal. Especially if you're with friends. Every battle, every minute, feels like you're in a movie.
The issues plaguing the game currently are frequent crashes, inability to rejoin friends, constant maintenance and patches that seem to break the game even more.
It's increasingly difficult to progress the game because of what's mentioned above, in addition to "rewards" simply not being given to players. Their compensation has been somewhat weak but still appreciated (if you get the chance to even play.)
Another issue is you realistically only have the choice of two viable weapons, with the rest of them being severely under powered. Granted that this game is pretty freshly released and I'm sure they will buff them.


Edit: They've fixed the server issues for the most part, and have been working towards balancing!

they lied about multiplayer. might as well only one person buys the game and yall vote out loud what to do, considering you CANT play together. buy for $59.99 to watch someone else play. nice lies dudes

A game that's super fun, no micro transactions, doesn't need live service? What an absolute rare treat that after so many years of awful / shady games, this game has actually given me hope. It truly is a breath of fresh air.
The graphics are stunning, the game is as difficult as you want to make it, the story is amazing. The gameplay is unreal. Might just be one of my most favorite games ever.

I've experienced a bit into this game so I figured I'd leave a review. I honestly most play the standard meltdown push minions through which is a pretty typical moba gamemode. I guess others dislike that despite knowing exactly what this game was going into it. The devs never overhyped this game or tried to sell it any other way than what it is. It's the players and people with preconceived ideas which brought disappointment to everyone. The leveling is fine. I find it hilarious all these people speak of "grinds" and oh darn "gear" or how the skins are all the same. I'm almost level 30, unlocked a lot of amazing gear, and enjoy the skins. What mobas starting off really released skins that rechanged the character completely? They're reskins, big whoop, voice your opinion maybe they'll change something.

Pros:
Very nice cartoon graphics
Cheap humor that can be quite entertaining
Actually takes skill to get gud
Not any bugs experienced so far
Fresh new twist on the MOBA scene with a FPS genre
What other MOBAs have a campaign?!

Cons:
I guess lack of gamemodes or content is what everyone says, I'll add it despite the fact I didn't mind it too much considering its a moba which should honestly not even have a campaign
Graphics perhaps too strong? I know a lot of people experience lag and frame drops while playing certain maps like coldsnap.
Price, this is a big one, I love this game, not really worth $60 though IMHO, by no means should be a F2P but, that's a lot of script for this type of game and what it delivers.
Difficulty acheiving characters/ rank. I have had no problems, but I'm not everyone, and when the majority of people believe this to be true, then I guess It just might be. Or they're just not good at these types of games.


Over all, this isn't borderlands, it's a moba, that happens to have a campaign, and they took a stab at refining an old genre, which I applaud them for. I'd rate this game an 8/10
