This is, quite possibly, the best bullet hell roguelite on the market, hands down. The class types, abilities, weapon types and upgrades all feel unique, the gameplay is fast and fun, the build possibilities are vast and it just feels so damn polished. The dev is very active and updates regularly, their patch notes or progress updates are always concise and it's clear he just loves the game and the community. If you love roguelites and haven't picked this one up yet, just do it.

Editing this review from negative. This latest update with the two new characters as well as the shop and coin balances has really changed the game, before it was a real no on the game but it really seems to be heading in the right direction, the complexities of builds is back as well as the currency not having a negative impact on game play. Although I'm being cautious on changes, right now the game is once again a joy to play.

From small beginnings come great things. I stumbled across this game years ago when it was still in it's infancy and have watched it bloom and expand as the years go by from coridoor run and gun to the new open expanses of PoE and now Fortuna. This is a game which draws me back to it time and time again and never seems to get old, even after burning out. You'll love this game if you're a fan of either space ninjas, MMO style games, beautiful grindfests or clem clem grakata grakata <3

Lets start off by being honest, I REALLY want to give this game a good rating because when I have been able to play it, it's fantastic, probably one of the best survival games on the market today. But alas, the game is broken, in a way in which it is literally unplayable and is currently just a waste of space on my hard drive.

Memory leaks my friends, memory leaks out the wazoo, now before you say "ho ho ho your PC is probably s**t" it isn't and my specs are well over the recommended, but out of 16gb RAM, this game uses, well, tries to use all of it and causes my PC to literally give up on life. I have tried every fix under the sun that normally resolves pc related memory leaks I even went and bought larger ram, it still used all of it. It's not drivers or graphic settings or resolutions or private servers or registry issues that's causing the problem, the game is broken and it has been this way for the last 2 years. Do we see a fix from the devs? No we don't just more cosmetic stuff being thrown in, if it was just a handful of us players I'd understand, but there is a large population of us on the forums screaming about this issue and yet nothing is done, even the people who can play the game smoothly experience these leaks.

So right now can I recommend this game? Absolutely not, maybe one day in the future when the issue is fixed, but now it's potentially just a waste of your money.

I very rarely write reviews for games, but for this one I just had to, whether you're a fan of pixel art RPG's or like a good story, just play this game. It may have a simple control system and gameplay style and not be the usual RPG with no turn based combat, but with what this game lacks in the traditional sense it makes up for it in heart and story. This is quite possibly one of the most beautiful and moving games I have ever played, I'm not afraid to say that I spent my hours playing this masterpiece with both a smile on my face and a tear in my eye. Freebird Games have made something beautiful and truly fullfilling, I cannot recommend this game enough, it's up there in the ranks of American Beauty and Sunshine of a Spotless Mind for media that will truly want you to make the most out of your life.

I love this game and I urge you all to just play it, the narrative is moving, the gameplay simplistically entertaining and the score is a masterpiece. 10/10

Initially I wasn't expecting all that much, I'd seen a few YouTubers playing it and really didn't think that much of it. Then a friend informed me the Veteran pack with closed Beta Access was only 98p so I thought why the hell not?! Honestly, my initial reactions couldn't have been more wrong! This game is so much fun and SOOOO addictive, I can unfortunately see myself buying things ingame, something I've never done before. Leave all pre determined ideas you have of this (soon to be) f2p game at the door and just play the heck out of it! Fantastically fun and frantic! 4/5
