im honestly surprised the reviews r so mixed, if you like carx drift racing and you just want a game to turn your brain off this is excellent. the soundtrack isnt huge but its decent, the cars all handle uniquely and are super fun to drive with a good variety in the physics. it feels like playing nfs with actual physics and its pretty dope. the map is pretty good, it runs great, and its super responsive and predictable. also, the game has lots of customization. the cars are all super well modelled.

as for cons, the levelling system, vehicle class system, campaign system, almost everything that isnt the base game but the systems on top of it that force slow progression and grind to an extent, are all bad. i think most people are complaining about that stuff and its totally justified, but the base game is like a solid 7/10 and 100% worth it. 20 bucks is not a lot for a game that honestly rivals aaa games in content and enjoyability. some ppl just be expecting so much from this game and i think its really unwarranted in some parts.

also, people apparently hate the ai in this game??? like, theyre really aggressive and sometimes faster than you in a way thats bs but i think the ai are actually pretty fun and fair to deal with. drive aggressively, hit them into walls, it incentivizes doing more than just driving well and that, in my opinion fits in a street racing game. if this were a track racer id understand

all in all, need for speed with much better physics, the base game is great but the systems on top like levelling and campaign are extremely flawed and unappealling. that being said, if you enjoy carx drift, the handling is like a matured version of that with more versatility. 7/10 for my overall experience with this game

the price is worth it if youre interested in trying it

could use a map, the menu font is a bit hard to read. thats my two gripes but the rest is 10/10 replayable

I LOVE THIS GAME but its super far from complete imo, the balancing is totally catawumpus and i think the roguelite aspect could be taken advantage of in more ways, like adding rng elements that enhance your run. the loop can also get tiring, which stinks because i think theres already so much to love with how the game is presented and how it controls. i really respect this game but its got glaring issues out the wazoo.

if all you want from this game is to fly around and do badass stuff like in the trailer and not much else, this game is worth its sale price. i hope that it gets updated more in the future but whats there is still part of the way to being a perfect niche-filler of a game.

goated + the mod support is game changing, but game expensive. it should probably be 20-25 for how much content is in the game. the maps + movement are fun but the loop is pretty monotonous
