This map is very different from other DCS maps. It is a lot bigger, and at first can even be deceptive in how one perceives the distances. However, it is gorgeous and varied. The satellite imagery creates good looking terrain, and recent polishing has made towns and forests look significantly better.

It looks amazing no matter if you fly low or high, and it has plenty of room for historical scenarios. While official campaigns are sorely missing from there, it has served in The Long Afternoon War MP campaign as the game map, and flying in the fjords with Argentine A-4s never gets old.

I have owned this map from the beginning, and now in early 2024, I can recommend it without reservation. Every patch period it gets updates, and it gradually becomes prettier and prettier, with more refined towns and areas.

My community has ran a weekly campaign on it for the past nine months, and it's been nothing but pleasant. Flying in the Strait of Magellan of the Beagle Channel is beautiful, and the terrain is truly unique. Our PvE campaign has provided the gameplay value, but once there's DLC campaigns here, even better.

Do you like hunting? If so, this is probably the game you want. Significantly more slower paced than COTW. You'll be doing a lot more glassing and a lot more slow walking in your quest to even find animals. I really have enjoyed COTW and the environments are nice, especially Revontuli Coast. This game has only two maps right now, but both are intricate and huge, and offer a lot to see.

The tracking is more realistic in this one. Animals don't leave trails everywhere, just often generic paths between need zones. The blood trails smear leaves and branches, and look significantly better. The kill camera also shows organs and bones far more intricately.

Weapons are realistic. Named in a realistic manner from real manufactures, and beautifully recreated and animated. Currently you can't change ammo type, but that is about to change according to the road map.

Best part about the game are the devs. They're responsive on the discord, and constantly working on the game. Patches are steady and offer neat content roughly every other week.

Story is fun and engaging and well acted, and gives you a reason to travel the map.

It's a good hunting game. If we compare to COTW: Slower, more realistic, less maps for now.

It's Swat 5. Yeah, it has a different name. Maybe they could've called it "Ready or SWAT" or whatever.
Fact of the matter is that the core gameplay of why we all played Swat 4 coop is here. It's improved, but the roots are the same. Now you can edit weapon loadouts, add attachments, et cetera. The lobby system for teams is great.

Game obviously needs a lot of polish, and more features moving forward.

The website lists 8-person coop. Currently 5-people are the maximum. We need more, especially for two fireteams. I had 8 friends buy the game on release hour, and we were disappointed for not being allowed to join.

We need pre-planning tools before the raid to choose deployment area, to check out maps, et cetera. Not just be dropped right in.

We need workshop, and map editor provided by devs for endless replayability.

But the game is good, it's worth the money, and if you need that Swat itch, you found it. Get it.

This game is one of the best games I have ever played. It sounds dramatic, but it is. It's a breathtaking labor of love, with a world that makes you believe it is real. The end of the wild west, the poverty, and the changing American culture are all in the single player story. You will be taken on a story of crime and suffering throughout the American West, and once your done playing, you can't stop thinking about it, imagining all the ways Arthur's life could have gone differently.

Arthur is a likeable character with deep flaws and complex emotions. It is ever present as you progress through the story.

. It's a great game, like a book that you read. It evokes emotions of all manner such as, laughter, anger, and sadness.

The online part is fun too, allowing you and your friends to root and toot together, and enjoy being a cowboy. It isn't like the story itself, but it is a lot of fun.

The combat in Steel Division, much like Wargame series, is good. It's solid, fairly realistic, and things make sense. For me, the major draw is the Army General mode as it gives purpose to your tactics, gives a reason to conserve power, and makes the decision far heavier. With coop patch, you and FOUR OTHER FRIENDS can now share all functions, and fight the campaigns together. This is what made the game really great for me!

Finnish campaign is great in coop, as is Burning Baltics. Because there is so much going on and so many details, everyone can take care of one part of the front. It's pretty overwhelming at times, but still a lot of fun.

All in all, it's a good Eastern Front game that is mostly realistic, yet fun and accessible. Remember to play with original battalion names to get all the cool unit names on the map. The compositions of Russian and Finnish units are very realistic in the Finnish campaign, and small peculiar units, like HeimoPataljoona 3 are there, which just makes it even better.

If you have coop friends, this is a great game!

It is world war one. You are french or german, but either way, the war sucks.

Stuck in a trench, you die many times over in a war that has no sense. Assault, defend, assault, defend and after all that someone arbitrarily wins. After round is over, the general calls and the killing carries on all over again.

The war to end wars surely sucked. The game is buggy and janky, yet there is nothing like it. Well worth the price.

This "game" is buggy as hell, a huge resource hog and includes a lot of bad translations.
Yet, it is awesome. As a free game, it comes with a fully clickable and modelled P51 Mustang that lacks weaponry, but is otherwise a complete aircraft. You can do a 100% realistic ramp start from clicking all the little switches and learning how to use an old fighter plane. The game also includes the Russian SU25T, Frogfoot, that is softcore sim and is about equal to the american A10 in capabilities.

I recommend this game and especially the FC3, Huey, A10C and Blackshark 2 addons. They add great planes and learning how to propely use these aircraft, from every tiny bit of detail will surely engage you for hours and hours.

The game could have a dynamic campaign though, but other than that, it is a solid hardcore military simulation.

Teamwork is absolutely necessary to win at any real difficulties.
Are the players suck. No one ever wants to cooperate in any way.
You die a lot and you restart a lot.

Take it and enjoy it.

Remember the reason you stopped playing the earlier Counter-Strikes?
Yeah, all those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying children with their microphones, those man children getting excited about a possible girls? The damn De_Dust?

Or maybe the retarded spraypaints?
Oh yeah. All of that ♥♥♥♥ is still here. Buy it, you are missing out.
