Thoroughly surprised by this game. Netease seems to know what they're doing with the gaming market this year.
I haven't spent a dime but I've been given enough customization options for free that it makes me want to spend money.
The guns feel AMAZING. Abilities are intriguing. Character designs are incredible.
It's free, it's fun, and it's better than Valorant.

I'm going to preface it with this: Yes. The game is gooner bait. Yes the game is furry bait.
BUT. The game is super ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun. If you have issues with the first to things I said, do your best to look past them.
This game has a ton of potential to take off as an indie hit. Gameplay is super satisfying, classes are unique, combat is rewarding.
If you like any of the diablo games and the way they handle loot, this game is right up your alley.

TL;DR Furry game is extremely fun

This game is incredibly fun for the price, but just know you will get maybe 2 or 3 days of content if you play it a lot.

Server issues made me push my playthrough back a day, but this is probably bungie's best DLC.
Lightfall was and IS a stain on this game, but I would argue that The Final Shape makes up for it.
What bungie does from here is what decides the fate of the game.

Game is fun, but cmon man.
Denuvo is NOT helping the already poor performance of the game.
I run a 2070 super and ryzen 5 3700x. I'm averaging 50-60FPS in open world combat, and around 30fps in towns.
To change your character's whole appearance, you have to spend 500 rift crystals or buy the item for $2.
If you're going to add a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ premium currency system, do not lock adjusting character features behind it.
You can never truly get an idea of how your character looks until you are in-game.

What needs to be done to fix this game is GET RID OF DENUVO and PLEASE optimize it.
There's no reason games should be running at this frame-rate in the year 2024.

Don't get me wrong. I LOVE this game.
However, the coin system in the tekken shop is a JOKE. It honestly disgusts me that it exists.
How can Harada make these jokes about people plugging (WHICH IS A SERIOUS ISSUE) and then follow it up with $4 skins where you can only buy $5 coin bundles? It's despicable.
Harada, get this ♥♥♥♥ together. Michael Murray, quit yapping on twitter you hack.

Leave it to sony to ♥♥♥♥ up a game that would have printed them an absurd amount of money.

The game is actually fun but there's a few major issues that I've noticed.

1. The game is incredibly unbalanced. Some characters are EXTREMELY oppressive compared to others. It is to the point where some are just not even worth playing regardless if you enjoy them. The designs seem to have had some sort of power creep as development went on.

2. Characters are locked behind gacha rolls. I know others have said this plenty of times, but it is a HUGE problem. They give you a character unlock ticket, but it only works on select heroes.

In my 3 hours of gameplay, I have found that Kaminari, Ibara, and Mountain Lady are the strongest characters.

I give this game a thumbs down because even though I enjoy playing it a lot, but the progression feels wasteful and I don't feel as if i'm actually earning everything. My favorite characters in the show get absolutely crushed by random characters that just happen to have a powerful kit.

It's literally all I could ever ask for from an RPG.
Well written characters? Yup.
In-depth character customization? Yup.
Tricky puzzles with genius solutions? Yup.
I can easily see myself spending hundreds of hours on this game.
