Game keeps crashing when I try to sleep and save losing hours of progress. Can't recommend until this gets fixed. Yes I've ran the game as administrator, ran it in compatibility mode for Windows 8, ran it in windowed mode, reinstalled the game numerous times, etc. Still keeps happening. If anyone has any other ideas of what I could try let me know.

Apparently devs have fixed the crashing issues as I haven't had a single one knock on wood.

Just go and buy it already! If you've played any of the TXR games in the past. Particularly TXR 3 you'll feel right at home. It has some of the same rivals and teams from that game. It's like seeing a long lost childhood friend after being years apart. Genki has nailed it so far with this game and if they add all the features that were in TXR 3 I see this being a cult classic in an era where racing games are thrown out onto the market with no soul or character and on top of that being listed at an exorbitant price. Devs if you are listening add some of the same effects as Midnight Cinderella for all of the main bosses like in TXR 3. It would just add to the nostalgia and atmosphere in the game.

Yes the special music track "Battle of the Empires" plays at the end of stage 1 when facing off against Midnight Cinderella

If you are into collecting cards in real life you'll love this game. Although the people you hire and customers are kind of boring and lifeless.

Major Order Completed: Defeat Sony

It's very good but in very early access. Only a couple people working on it and quite a few features are incomplete. Still recommended for the price, but in my opinion I would hold out for a couple months and if you're in the mood for a game like this "Farthest Frontier" is a lot "Farther" along and offers a more complete experience.

I'm so happy for this remaster! Gameplay is the same as it was back in the day just with updated graphics. Makes certain levels look really, really good. For controls I've used tank controls with the directional buttons mostly as it's what the originals were based around. However I've found modern controls to be better in certain situations. The only thing I don't like about the remaster is the achievements. It's like the devs just said screw it and put them all out of order. Some you literally have no idea what level you get them on. But all in all it's passable and I still think this is worth getting if you grew up on the classic Tomb Raider games.

This game is absolutely amazing! If you are a fan of "Death Stranding" with a driving survival element baked in you'll love this. It's got a bit of a learning curve figuring out what each anomaly can do to your car and how to deal with them or outright avoid them. Parts can wear out and break on the car so scavenging from all the abandoned buildings in each area becomes very necessary especially towards the end of the game and it's good to be prepared. You also need to gather anchors in each area to escape back to the garage at the end of each journey and to unlock upgrades for the garage, your character, and your car. Won't go too much into it but there are plenty of videos on Youtube to help you along. Definitely worth a buy and a very unique take on the survival genre!

THE GAME IS NOT ABANDONED!! For the love of god the devs posted a development update on September 8th, 2023 and another on October 5th, 2023. It's more than likely a small team working on this game not a AAA studio. Things take time people! Yes there was 3 months of radio silence which was an oversight on their part, but come on! These top negative reviews are mostly a week or two after the devs posted one of the updates on progress. Did they not read the news on the game before posting their review? I'm sick of people review bombing games when there is progress being made.

Finally the king that was the 605R has been dethroned! This thing is an absolute monster and can get you through pretty much anything. The only downsides of this truck is the front overhang and the larger profile so no squeezing through those tight gaps like you can in the 605R. The only thing I don't really like is this truck is just given to you whereas the 605R felt like an actual accomplishment when you finally obtain it in Amur. Everything on this truck is a straight upgrade from the latter aside from the tires. The ZHM tires are slightly narrower than the 605R and really it's the only tires you should be using on this thing. Be warned buying this will make the game a cake walk so if you are a masochist and love pain and suffering don't buy this.
