Early Access Review
The game latest update was this year and you think after a while, some progress would be made since it's release in 2014, right? Well, you'd be wrong. Honestly? If this was still 2014, I'd say the game is going great. But we're not. We're at the end of 2024. Ten years after release and the games has all sorts of issues.

The controls seems fine for the most part since it's using classic directional input and a button command. But sometimes I feel like it is also based of where the character is facing and not the direction I'm inputting. It also doesn't really explain well how to put pressure as I struggle to finish a match with submissions. Also, the create a wrestler feels non existent with majority of the sample wrestler having the same height and there's no color editing for the wrestling gear or logo. What's up with that?

Furthermore the game, while it does warn it is only single-player, you'd think by now they would have cracked multiplayer to mess around with friends. And the blood texture is whack. It ain't placed properly on the wrestler. Let alone it ain't even putting physics properly. If you try to slam opponent on a table or try to hit them when on top of turnbuckle, expect to see a blood texture floating out of nowhere.

This game been out for 10 years, and it still struggles to do what it was set out to do which was replicate old wrestling game fun. I don't know where the developers have been the last 10 years that the recent update was the blood addition. The only fun thing about this game is mostly being able to mindlessly kick and punch and grapple, if you can ignore every other incorrect thing happening around them. Honestly? I would have been fun with the mindless kick and punch, if it was with at least local multiplayer. I'm lucky I got it on a sale. But if you ask me? Save your money. Find something else.

The game has good visuals and good soundtrack, but the gameplay and the puzzle leaves a lot to be desired. It doesn't help that the developers have abandoned the game to the point one of the achievement is literally impossible without editing one of the game file's text file to get the challenge done.

The physics can be clunky as hell by the time you reach the 4th world and so on, and while it is challenging, it's more frustrating than fun to figure out because the story just doesn't feel like a good reward to solve anything. All I get is "I'm hungry". Is everyone so bad of a person in this game that work is always more important than hunger after saving 3 areas?

If you want a puzzle game, this ain't it.

It's a nice little thing to see the growth while it plays itself. And compared to all the other gaming ads social media has, this one stays as true as possible.

It truly does suck that this game got delisted, but on the off chance that this game somehow returns or end up remaster, please do consider getting Jet Set Radio. It's not exactly a long game per say, but it was pretty fun to try and find ways to paint the town with graffitis to mark the team's territory while trying to beat the clock while also aiming for the biggest score you can possible. Getting those high rating, being nitro or jet, just feels satisfying.

After having played the first Sonic & Sega All-Star racing, looking at this now, I can see gameplay wise it has improved on this racing game for All-Star Transformed. The vehicles transforming and some of the transforming tracks definitely gave me an element of surprise when first playing this game and it's definitely fun to race in a car, a boat and plane. And with all the features to play to progress or unlock makes it all the more enjoyable along with the challenges it has.

However, I will say, while I had a blast and I plan to play this with a few people, I will say, I do struggle a lot with boat when it goes a little out of control regardless of the handling. But despite feeling like I sometimes don't have control of the boat, I still have a blast and sometimes manage to recover. I will also say I have noticed how in the previous Sonic & Sega All-Star game, it seems the previous one, when you boost, you sometimes end up invulnerable against the track's obstacle. In here, that doesn't happen anymore. It was very abusable in the previous game. It was also much more challenging than the previous game too. But the license upgrade? I love it compared to the Sega miles from the previous game, along with being able to customize it with stickers of what one has unlocked.

The positives in my opinion overwhelms some of the game this game has, especially if you find people to play this with. The only gripe I currently have is that sometimes, it doesn't do stunts when I flick the right stick and sometimes proc it twice because it didn't buffer it before, and sometimes, the boat part of the race. but other than that, it's a swell game if you like cartoonish or fantasy like race game.

It may be short, and it may not offer much, but it is special in a sense. Not only does it showcase what it can be done with a certain program they have released (And if you have no idea what I mean by "certain program", please I recommend do check one of the updates posted by the team), it's perfect for the holidays with sweet ideas that we all need a reminder about every now and then in this harsh world we live in. It even motivated me to want to try writing something. Not that... I know where to start. In fact, I worry too much my ideas may be too similar to someone else's work. But that's besides the point.

I think there's more than five reasons to check out this really cute visual novel. But if you don't believe me, I'll share what I think. The first reason being a really good short story that will make you feel all sorts of emotions and feel relatable to our own lives. The second reason being that it is perfect for the holidays. Third reason being how it showcase what can be done with their new program shared to the public. The fourth reason being memorable characters that we have all come to love (and some were they are more frienemies). And if you have never played Brok, I would say this is a good introduction to them and their characters. So consider giving it a look. The fifth and final reason, it's free. Hey, it's true and it's a reason. It counts. Hahaha! So really, you have no reason to not give it a try, spread joy, and feel it.

Please consider giving it a read and share it with friends.

It's old, but it a good one still. I'll recommend it to anyone who likes a collection of racing games. Has a mission mode and a Grand Prix mode for content along with information of all characters in the game. And although it wasn't much of a challenge for me (unless you add the achievements in the game but they don't unlock anything), it's nice enough to enjoy clearing stuff. The only issue is finding the right resolution and audio settings when using the configuration program. My suggestion, if you get this game? Don't bother taking Vertical Sync off if you don't want audio issues. Also don't play it for long hours in a row, or it will have rendering issues (Mostly anything involving bridges).

But do keep in mind Sonic & All-Star Racing Transformed offers a bit more. So consider that as well before buying this one as this doesn't have online racing and it won't be long until you finish everything on AAA rank and 1st place podium finish.

Despite being an old game from way long ago, this game still hold pretty well. It has your classy beat;em up adventure, saving the world, and even added stuff for multiplayer like fighting over who gets kissed by the princess when you rescue them. I'd recommend anyone to give this game a try.

I haven't played much of Stardew yet, so I plan to update this at a later date, maybe. But so far, it has been a very relaxing game for me. it's chill, the NPCs are with personality which makes one want to interact and find out about them, and I get to relax with a farm or by fishing. Although I will say, making a harvest at the start is a struggle. So I hope I continue to play more and progress in this. For now, This will be a nice fishing game for me.
