This game is everything the first Shadowrun was not. Many of the Gameplay and UI issues have been resolved and the story is absolutely compelling and well written. The only negative is a lack of side missions for team members. If you're a fan of story driven, top down RPG's you have to play this.

If you enjoy old arcade style gameplay and absolute mayhem I recommend this title. After the recent engine updates the game now plays as it should.

While it can get a bit repetitive, playing a couple of races every odd day seems to satisfy an instatiable urge for ruin and destruction. Ridiculous power ups and the politically incorrect gaming humour of old further serve to endear it to people looking fo something which simply isn't present in many modern games.

It's a shame multiplayer is totally dead, I had a few good mashups with people when it was just released.

If you're a horror fan then you simply have to buy this game. The story, atmosphere and pacing are simply perfect. The title plays on all the best horror tropes in a fresh and exciting manner, with a story that keeps you searching for hidden documents and notes in an attempt to unveil what exactly is happening.

I recommend both the original game and the Whisteblower expansion to capture the full experience. My only critique of the title is the running and hiding gets a bit repetitive after finishing the original game and playing the expansion, but the unique take on the similar environments navigated before definitely make it worth completing everything.
