Where do I even start?
I wanted to give it a mixed opinion, neither bad, nor good. However, after the updated alternate ending however...I just have to give it a bad one.
To start with the best thing about DreadOut 2 - its graphics. Beautiful environments, fantastic character models and generally great looking creatures. The atmospere is alright, spooky, but definitely not scary.
Now, the story...it's not the most original, nor the most exciting, it's just meh. Very much middle ground, nothing special. We don't get to know the main character other than very surface traits, and those traits pretty much being that her parents are dead and she can see dead stuff. The only cool thing were the myths and legends which added flavor to the game as little easter egss.
Now the gameplay - trash. Generally, it's a small team, I didn't want to be harsh at first, but the more I played the more frustrating it got. The camera wouldn't snap pictures properly, enemies would stun-lock me resulting in my death because of a single slip-up, sometimes they'd glitch on top of me or the camera wouldn't even register their presence. To sum it up - incredibly frustrating.
General bugs are present all throughout the game, they are EVERYWHERE. From clipping and falling through the map and having to reload a checkpoint, to the game crashing to desktop multiple times in one sitting.
In conclusion - this game could have been good. But the story isn't good enough for me to overlook all of the problems which nearly made me quit on a few occasions. This is not difficulty scaling, it's bad game design. I wanted to like this game, and I think in the future, once all the anger towards the bad gameplay has been forgotten - I'll say it's a good game.
Get it on sale, even that generally low price doesn't represent the game's worth. It is what it is.

Pretty damn fun. It's honestly just medieval L4D. The interactions are fun, the gameplay is smooth and easy to get used to, graphics are alright, not DBH level but they don't look straight out of PS1 either.
Try it with your friends, cause playing it with strangers can be....difficult. Watch the others' backs and you're good to go.

Buggy asf, slow as my nan with a broken leg, carrying a boulder, crashes every 20 minutes and has some of the most unappealing gameplay I've tried. Half of the time spent on PUBG was me starting and restarting because it would crash and die every time I killed someone or got killed. Never again.

This game is a masterpiece. Yeah, no, I'm serious, it's brilliant from start to finish and it doesn't drop the ball at any point. It's intriguing, horrifying, beautiful, heart-warming and gut-wrenching.
SF is a rare gem amongst indie games and I cannot recommend it enough. The graphics are incredibly charming and I presonally adore them. And the music is just amazing, it fits this game like a glove and adds to...pretty much every scene that has music. And when the music stops - you know ♥♥♥♥'s about to go down. Such a masterful way of using an OST. I know it doesn't sound like a lot, many games do this, but once you're in Sally's shoes - you'll know, you'll understand.
The story, well I can't say anything about it because every little detail is a spoiler, but I can say that it's one of the best games I've ever played and it's very near and dear to my heart. At no point does it feel like it's rushing, nor like it's dragging its feet in a desperate attempt to extend playtime. No, it's incredibly well done from the moment you start it up, with great menu music might I add, to the very end that couldn't come late enough. I wish the game was longer, I do. But the dev made this insanely good game and told his story. And boy, what a story that is.
You won't regret playing it. It's a weird, little indie game, but it's one of the best out there, hardly any top it, other than maybe Fran Bow. Just play it.

This game is...something. I have a bit to say about it so let's start with the gameplay - brilliant. It is incredibly fun and Very addictive. The high speed nature of the game is fantastic and really puts you in the shoes of a cyber ninja (yes, that is exactly what you are). The levels are often difficult but rewarding. With that said - you Will die. A lot. Like A LOT. It's frustrating at times, takes a lot of trial and error until you find that crispy clean golden path that gets you through the last enemy. But once you do - man, you feel like a god.
The graphics are just amazing. For a team of 30 people, this is a tripple A quality game in my eyes, it looks beautiful.
The swords are also really nice and are fun to find, the arms look pretty okay too.
Now, yes, I do recommend this game, but not for the story. The story is alright, but it's not very well told. I am aware that it is a small development team, and I'm not here to dunk on them for it, not at all. It has massive potential, and they did something great by putting in random items as secrets that give small but important pieces of information that do fantastic world-building. I would've liked to see more of that. Voice acting is really good, the performance was top notch and I enjoyed the slimy nature of the Architect along with that smooth deepness of the Ghostrunner's voice.
So, yeah, that's about it. It's a great game, worth your money and I'd say just go play it.
Also Zoe is annoying.

This game is fantastic. Being directed by the man himself, Yoko Taro, it's not surprising. But a lot of people had negative things to say about it and I'd disagree with each and every point.
To start with - the story. It's brilliant. Powerful, emotional, a proper gut-punch. Very different from Automata, but that's great, no? It would have been terribly disappointing if I had to replay the same game with only a set of new faces.
Second is gameplay. Many say it's not as good as Automata, but that is just not true. It's incredibly similar and just as good.
Third is graphics and they are simply gorgeous.
Forth is the commonly called "glorified fetch side quests". While some indeed are like this such as the "Shopping list" and "Return to shopping list", many others are far from it. They often involve a tough enemy or exploring a new destination.
The game is just bloody breathtaking and I strongly recommend it. Both before and after Automata. Having played Automata first, only now I can appreciate the huge amount of references, but they are all suttle and tear-jerking.
One very lengthy review later: Play the game. Worth every penny.

Big guns, gory asf, modded up the a$$ with one of the best video game soundtracks in any FPS I've played. Best thing about it is you feel the impact of the damage you're dealing. You'll see what I mean.
Go play it if you like shooting stuff.

It's a good game. Very replayable and generally dumb fun. Each difficulty has its own fun and frustrating side, each heist has a unique approach that you are required to discorver, usually by trial and error. Gameplay is very easy to learn and adapt to, and you don't need a lot of time before being able to fully commit to harder difficulty.
It's great for unwinding with some friends and honestly, as toxic as some of the community is - the majority isn't. People complain about it a lot, but I'd disagree. A few bad apples don't spoil the bunch in PD2's case.
The DLC's are good. The heists are fun and the cosmetics slap. I do find H3H3's inclusion incredibly unnecessary and just plain stupid though, absolutely pointless.
But other than that - great game.
Go play it. It's worth your money.

Hands down, one of the best remakes in recent years, if not as a whole. The remake kept the spirit of the original and only bettered it. Graphics, fighting mechanics and everything else is just amazing. 10/10 recommended.

This game is as brilliant as it gets. Alice started it, Alice: Madness Returns finishes it beautifully and quite gruesomely. A fantastic game that holds up to this day, and I reckon it will forever hold up, at least to me. The graphics are stuck in their own timeline, so it's just impossible to call them bad no matter how many LiS: True Colors and Detroit: Become Human we get with amazing, human-like graphics. The controls are incredibly smooth, easy to get used to and the story...my god, the story is a masterpiece. Some bumps in the way as every good story has, but overall it is an experience I valued in my childhood and will continue to hold dear to my heart.
Play the game.
