Since I couldn't get the original version on Steam, I was forced to buy DSr, so these are my opinions on the game itself and not on the remaster.
Dark Souls is one of my favorite games of all time. It's touched me like no other game has before, and is by far one of the best games ever made. While it is difficult, the difficulty fits alongside the theme of the game, and the fact that (for most of the time), the difficulty is fair. One of the most impactful games on me in general, and I will hold onto the fond memories I have with this game for a long time.

On your first playthrough this game will kick your ass, but it is extremely rewarding at the same time. Easily one of the best games I've played in the last decade. Fantastic visuals, punishing yet satisfying gameplay, amazing soundtrack, unique storytelling, and overall a fantastic experience. It takes a bit to get into, but once you get the mechanics down you will have a lot of fun.

One of my favorite games in general, and one of if not the best VR game on the market right now. The gameplay is phenomenal with the physics system being the shining star, and it honestly deserves a ton of praise. The soundtrack is god tier, and the sound design is great, however the story is one of the most all over the place stories in any game, and it could've definitely used more work. Other than that, great game, and I highly recommend you pick this one up if you're new to vr or are just looking for a really good vr game to play.

Easily the best VR game on the market currently. It's immersion is incredible, occasionally I would scream when a headcrab jumped out at me from the dark, something not achieved in any past Half-Life games or Valve games in general. I found almost zero bugs in my playthrough other than the occasional model clipping through the wall. The only major complaint I have for this game is the way they handle Melee combat, it's nonexistent. You could hit a headcrab with an entire chair and it wouldn't flinch. Other than that issue, I say this game is really good, and definitely worth the VR headset.

One of my favorite single player experiences I have played in some time. The gameplay is interesting and engaging, the mechanics are extremely polished and fun to mess around with. The story is well written and extremely engaging. I only experienced one bug in my entire playthrough, and even though the story is relatively short, it's one of the most memorable I have ever played in a video game. If you ever get the chance, please check this game out. Can't wait for more content from this.
