PLEASE CONSIDER UPVOTING TO WARN POTENTIAL PLAYERS

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME, infinite black loading screen at the start of the game.
I have tried every fix i could find in both guides and discussion threads:
-Regedit (changing variable "0" to "1")
-Changing regional settings to English (US)
-Deleting persistent save files (both %appdata% and remote userdata)
-Verified file integrity multiple times
-Disabling Steam Cloud
-Reinstalled the game many times, even reinstalled steam once

If you want to get more details on these fixes, head to the game discussions or guides. Sadly, none of them worked for me.

This error started popping up after i closed midgame while playing on development mode. I have also kept the game loading for about an hour without positive results.

I will change this review once this bug is fixed, Till then.

UPDATE AS OF 10/05/23 (Changed Negative Review to Positive Review)

Found a solution to whoever is still struggling with this.
I downloaded and played the game on a friends computer on my steam account. Then, when i came back home, I tried booting up the game and to my surprise, now it works, completely fixed. Sadly, i lost all my progress AND the cash I spent on it. AFAIK Spike ChunSoft wont give me a refund so i guess thats that.

Recommendations:

DO NOT CLOSE THE GAME THROUGH TASK MANAGER OR RANDOMLY CLOSING IT DURING GAMEPLAY, Go all the way back to the title and QUIT.
