Your Only Move Is HUSTLE is an an intense and technical fighting game that totally reflects the competitiveness of SSB, Guilty Gear, Brawlhalla, etc...

BUT..... The difference is that you're given the opportunity to thoroughly consider you and your opponent's actions. Kinda like chess! Only....
...your chess pieces look reeealllyyy badass. And, well, they're fighting game characters.

If you enjoy gaming combat, but also like the idea of having the opportunity to consider your actions, Your Only Move Is HUSTLE is the game for you. No matter your experience with fighting games, one's gaming intuition translates very well. EVEN IF you get your ass handed to you on your first couple introduction fights, Your 1v1 always pays off with an attractive full-speed playback of your entire duel- in all of its fine detail. You can even play Single player and "choreograph" both characters' actions while honing your multiplayer skills. With every match, you gain more understanding of your best options, and how to set them up. Again, not unlike chess, The limit of game mastery is virtually uncapped- all while looking AWESOME.

The developer (Ivy Sly) has a dedicated drive to balance the game and acknowledge community input. Amidst the fray of chaotic gamer chatter, Ivy recognizes and acknowledges damn near every attempt that the community makes to input their gameplay experience when it comes to refining this game. This dev welcomes, and actively considers, community input in an attempt to reflect the PLAYER'S desires. All the while, maintaining an admirable sense of perfectionism and urgency. Beyond that, Ivy continues to be involved in such things as casual interactions with the game's community.

Throughout beta development, this dev juggled the responsibilities of daily patches on the public itch.io version, while heavily considering community input. Additionally, They rigorously beta tested/patched the open steam release alongside the incredibly helpful Steam beta testers. Again, all of this is strongly indicative of a dedicated, personable, and community-driven dev. This game does NOT lack passionate dev attention, and is built on uniquely relatable concepts that result in almost unlimited possibilities.

tl;dr
If you like fighting games, give this game a shot. If you like the idea of curating impressive 1v1 plays (especially in the context of fighting games), give this game a shot. If you want to independently choreograph epic fights without having to worry about the meticulous hassle of animating it, give this a shot!!!! Your Only Move Is HUSTLE is dynamically captivating and infinitely addictive on many, many levels. Play alone, play with friends, it doesnt matter! There's something here for everyone.
