Please for the love of God, go play Prey: Mooncrash instead. I'm sure it's been said plenty times here and elsewhere, but it's genuinely the experience you're wanting out of a game like this. This is not a Deathloop. It's a Level-Loop.

Even on sale this game is not worth your money. The utter definition of style over substance. The game's presentation and narrative are really intriguing, but it's a thin veil to hide the subpar and lackluster gameplay loop. I've never had to mess around with so many Pop-Ups, Tutorial Prompts and Game Menus in my life until I played Deathloop.

It seems like a nit-pick but you'll get tired of it real quick. It takes you out of an experience that should be way more interactive with the world instead of messing around in menus so much. Not to say without the bloat this game would be saved, as the difficulty, exploration and actual content for it all suffer miserably compared to Arkane's previous works. The gun-play and movement is the only thing that really stuck out but we've already seen it from Dishonored and similar Action/Adventure games.

Unless you're a die-hard Arkane Fan, you think the story and visuals can carry you through to the end of it, or someone gives it to you, it's not worth your time.
