Early Access Review
Rating: 9.5/10

This game is a masterclass in first-person shooter design, with tight controls and stunning visuals that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

POLYGON's gameplay is incredibly polished, with a responsiveness that makes every shot feel satisfying. The level design is clever and varied, with a mix of close-quarters combat and long-range engagements that will test your skills. The guns and the skill based unlocks are very much like something that gives you an addiction for the "grind" mentality players such as myself. I like the free for all game mode. However, I would look forward to see an actual 5v5 competitive mode and ranked lobbies that has matchmaking within the game instead of PCL and ranked events on discord which seems a bit too much effort for me. Good graphics and the game does not feel like it lags. Some weapons have amazing physics and almost all of the weapons are perfectly balanced. Needs to be more weapons like machine guns and shotguns. Needs to be character abilities, such as placing medic bags and ammo bags for team that grants xp to players who are not great with shooting. Snipers need a bit more balancing since they possess way too much bullet drop with a large scope. The same sniper will work surprisingly well with an iron sight. Other than that, perfect.

The game's polygonal art style is a stroke of genius, providing a unique and visually stunning experience. The environments are richly detailed, with a keen attention to texture and lighting that makes every scene feel alive. The game is light but looks very good specially because of the lighting and the players are visible with the environment. Some of the maps like metro and sandstorm are very good in regards to lighting and environment that requires the player to focus a bit more visually.

The multiplayer mode is just as impressive, with a range of modes and maps that will keep you coming back for more. The matchmaking is quick and seamless, and the community is already showing signs of being passionate and dedicated. As mentioned above, I would love forward to see a ranked lobbies that are 5v5 like csgo and valorant. I would mention that the game is currently still in beta and it is highly underrated. As far as I have seen, the game holds a lot of potential and does need more audience.

Verdict:
POLYGON is an absolute must-play for fans of first-person shooters. With its stunning visuals, and addictive gameplay, it's an experience that will stay with you long after the credits roll. It has good physics and the bullets don't miss the target. I don't feel any lag playing the game at 140-150 ping. I'd love to see the game have more audience and hopefully have more servers that offer competitive/ranked matchmaking system in the game.

Rating Breakdown:
  1. Gameplay: 9.5/10
  2. Visuals: 8/10
  3. Shooting: 9.5/10
  4. Multiplayer: 9/10
  5. Overall: 9.5/10

Recommendation:
If you're a fan of FPS games like Call of Duty, Halo, or Counter-Strike, you owe it to yourself to check out POLYGON. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

This game is a very good simulator since it has all different buttons and actions and physics that no other driving sim can offer. It is playable on all three, kewyboard, mouse and steering.
