Somewhere between minesweeper and picross. The soothing background music makes it easy to focus and pick your way through levels. Definitely more challenging than the previous game, but in a good way.

The story of this game was ok (I think lacking enough setup to become attached to any characters), but the dice mechanic is quite miserable since failing a check doesn't really lead to a more interesting outcome, it just penalizes your sanity or health.

The system is horrible. No read/unread skip, no auto mode or text speed, no window controls, poor volume controls, no keybinds, restrictions on even accessing the main menu, inability to go to title screen except between chapters...I don't know why it's lacking so many basic features that every other VN typically has.

Added to that is the poor placement of save points, forcing you to repeat these rng battles to see different endings, and the NG+ obvs making you play through several chapters again before the bonuses really help... It's annoying to play. The art is pretty but isn't worth the hassle. I'd only buy this on a steep discount.

I love this game, all of the objects are cute and it's so fun to build dream gardens!

Although the objects you get are randomized, there are items you can use to increase/decrease the odds of getting what you want or to duplicate objects, so it's not too hard. The game is more active than it seems as visitors show up quite frequently and there's a lot of little management you can do. I'm still gathering items to complete sets, but progress is steady and coins are abundant - it's not that hard to get most items, though some are rarer than others.

I would definitely recommend this game. There's no pressure or real difficulty, just soothing gardenscaping.

I think this game is fine for its price point (especially on sale), but missing a ton of QoL features. I understand these were design choices, but really would've preferred to have some kind of subtitles for accessibility reasons. The notes feature is abysmal and I found it completely useless. The achievements also frustrated me, as half of them are dependent on playing the game in the least efficient way possible.

I had expected more to the overarching story and was a little disappointed in that regard, but the puzzles were fun nonetheless. There is no replayability; you can reload the very end to see some sort of alternate ending states, but that's about it.

Unfortunately it's hard to recommend this game due to its very slow main story and lack of interaction or driving force...just a very lonely game I found it challenging to pick this back up when I put it down. I wish there were no spoilage mechanics and more creatures. I think you should buy this if you have a vision you want to painstakingly landscape and work towards, otherwise I wouldn't.

A really cute and funny little game with some hilarious voice acting. Loved playing through this with a few friends!

This is an unbelievably beautiful game produced by a small team. A narrative on the past you can't leave behind, and whether you need to try anyway. I was so impressed by the quality of the voice acting and the visual direction - each level was masterfully balanced between new and interesting mechanics and camera angles, and familiar characters and elements. The chapters were extremely well-paced, the cast interesting and fun to talk to, and the controls pleasantly simple without sacrificing quality of life elements. I cared about all of them. And I will remember.

Thank you for making this game. It was an experience well worth having.

Surprisingly this game really worked for me. I liked that it wasn't too punishing to get to your destination, but you did have to compromise sometimes. It was interesting to randomly encounter all the characters and progress their stories. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't 100% every character's story in one game but that, along with the different endings and paths you can take, added some replay value. I think this is a good game to get on sale.
