First ever intensely conceptualized review of the war game, Holdfast: Nations at War.

The game is ultimately a grand scale of 19th century conquest and where strength is the epitome when in numbers. When you first spawn as your soldier in a war torn village, ruined fortress, or coniferous woods, you'll find a myriad of different battle interception and various predicaments, The true defining quality of this age of warfare includes the weapons of which at the antediluvian time were interminable times of paused combat with the painfully slow dispensing of ammo and reloading of the weapon. If found in a quick rapid situation, melee with your bayonet will prove of generous worth.

You'll be able to choose from the plethora infantry soldier to the leading captain of the combatant unit. You have a discrete choice to claim your position as a cavalry which treads the map and terrain to the demolition qualities of a rank requiring the esoteric experience to fire cannons. A life saving class, known as the Surgeon, will aid you're meticulous fight by either healing or patching up unforgiving bruises. In some situations being reprieved can aid your fight for survival. Now, we have the musicians, they have a mellifluous amount of music to play, this is not just for music playing, it also lends assistance in enhanced aim and accuracy. They might seem innocent but they do holster a weapon for impending collision with a hostile.

At some times, you might feel like you've experienced death all too often and would like a hail merry for once to compensate for your misfortunes. In contrast, some times you might feel like a king decimating your foes. This game may prove tedious at time and long in its satisfying kills but if you give it a respectful amount of leeway and time, you''ll discover that this game might suit your fancy.

An outstanding feature that this game possesses is its massive online multiplayer function that glorifies this PC platform game. Simply put from an carefully observed contemplation, it feels that to, I the reviewer, would find this game awfully hard without the multitude of players roaming the map. This what makes the game stark, with the inclusion of the slow reloading time, it makes a pinnacle amount of sense to have this feature implemented into the game.

An off the road quality about this game is it's included microphone compatibility; players gathered from all around the world will present their music of fanfare, OST of Anime, or pop culture themes. This could also simply mean pure austere verbiage or relaxed tactical communication. This is what honestly makes this game, in popular opinion, what makes the game so great.

An added inclusion to my review. There is also quite the array of game modes the game has to offer. You can fight in Siege, Conquest, Battlefield, and much more. These three mentioned game modes are the typical and general game modes you'll find yourself in. Conquest is a game mode in which you capture points, a more elaborate Capture the Flag, but with tons of player pursuing the objective. Battlefield is a sort of Team Death Match; you will have limited lives, or resources in this case, and you'll fight on one side to defeat the other opposing team. Your made goal is to accrue the most kills in the given match. Last, but not least is the ever popular, Siege, Tower Defense but with more players. Players on one side defend a fort or shelter with limited lives to defend the point and the other sides attacks the point to take control of the said point. These three Game Modes add variety to your Holdfast experience and matches.
