I ve always had fond memories of this game, and when I heard about a remaster of the game being released I got kind of excited and disappointed at the same time.

the game is as great as it was back in 2007 when I first played the originals campaign, graphics are really good

The remaster really did bring back a lot of feelings about this game that I had forgotten, but that might just be my nostalgia talking.


Graphics look great and 2 of the greatest showcases of that is the missions "Crew Expendable" and "All Ghillied Up"

I've heard that people have had performance issues and bugs/crashes on this game, I've had none of this so far.

The Gameplay is like any other game in the MW series, simple but fun for a while.

Audio: Background music is great, the weapons could sound a bit heavier tho, they sound kind of like toys, ambient audio is also pretty good.

Voice Acting: Great, especially Cpt. Price's voice, man that ♥♥♥♥ is GOAT.

One of the best single player shooters ive ever touched, has good grapichs good mechanics an a better story.

Different kind of third person shooter.... Intense fighting....Intense story....be careful about the decisions you make...

It's ultra realistic gameplay-wise, and has great graphics. Did I mention it's well optimized? Most systems can run it on high at a buttery smooth 60 FPS.

Taking one shot in the wrong place can mean instant or slow and painful death. There is a small diagram in the lower left hand corner that shows where you are injured. Yellow is minor, orange is moderate, and red is severe. Like, if you have red highlighted injuries, you gonna die.

The game takes a page out of Battlefield's book (or did Battlefield take a page out of theirs?) with the supression effect. When being shot at or around explosions and gunfire, your screen will become distorted and your aim will become worse. Makes sense. I mean, I'm being shot at. I'd have bad aim too.

Only a fool would advocate the importance of K/D ratio in this game. You'll die more times than a white girl says "like" in her lifetime.

Cons:

American voices just sound stupid. "DON'T GET SHOT BAH TOJO BOYS" "FLANK EM WHILE HES DOWN" "THAT WAS FOR PEARL HARBOR" Ugh. Please change it.

German english voice acting is GOD AWFUL.
Pacific campaign needs a little work. It's great, but feels less fleshed out.
No European Theater.

This would have to be the best part, one word, GUNSMITH, to this date it is the single best weapon customization i have ever seen in a shooting game, that aside the feeling of being a secret team of highly trained soldiers never felt better, the optical camo which is the mainstay of this game and the option for sync shots as well as the tons of other gadgets make you feel like you are actually behind an elite operator, the story is a in between a short to medium game, the missions take a decent amount of time to complete if you are going for no alerts or going for the hardest difficulty.

MISC:

The sounds in this game are pretty good, aside from anything that is suppressed sounding like a .22 with a soda can on it. I have played through the whole game and i have never encountered one bug at all so that is also a very good thing. The way you unlock attachments and weapons is kinda annoying and pointless for me anyway, most the time the gun you want you wont be able to unlock till later in the game, once you get to that point though there is usually only 2 or 3 missions left, same with attachments but the good news is you can select missions and replay them with the newer weapons which is kinda fun just to try out the new weapons and attachments. The AI in this game is kinda a toss up, your team is pretty much impossible to kill and thats on any difficulty, however the enemies are accurate as all hell and bum rush you with shotguns and smgs constantly which can result in you dying alot if you are unprepared, overall id say the AI could use maybe a little improvment to make your team a little more realistic and less rambo like.

Well overall I give this game a thumbs up, its a great addition to TC:GR not as hardcore as the others but it finds a balance between arcade action and tactical shooting which for most games is impossible to do nowadays (COD/BF)
I would pick it up on sale if anything but once again i will note that the multiplayer is dead so dont buy it for the MP or CO OP
