A very interesting game. Civilization V never got me interested as much as did this game. And there is some problems with the AI and a few annoying things, however the game is close to great from a casual players perspective, which im really enjoying!

Very good expansion, got me back into the game and adds good flavor for starting situations with the whole origin system.

This game is pretty decent all around, with a great concept and a good backbone it feels very barebones. With the terrible start it had it was surely brought back by the devs, especially 1.2 and 1.3. HOWEVER, after a few successful patches from Paradox it did not deliver to the expectations and did not reach a full revival. The game at this day is still buggy, lacks content even after the release of 2.0 and now with paradox halting any further updates for this game it feels like even though it could reach it's amazing potential, paradox has given up on it.

A great game, very different from every other Paradox grand strategy game, with some sci-fi elements. The graphics and the gameplay is great, however it can feel a little bit laggy sometimes. Surely a good game ;)

After more than a thousand hours in this game, I can for sure say it is an amazing grand strategy game. Even though the last two updates did not deliver, it is an old game with an old engine. It now has content for bassicaly every region in the world, pretty dope mission trees and a very interesting way to micro your nation and armies during war, and multiplayer can make it even more fun! Even though a billion DLC's can make it hard for new players to get into, if you can grab those in a sale it is an good pick up.

In my opinion, the features of this DLC is good, but they lack some depth like pirates, and theres way too less features that it would justify the price. In addition, they can just add new missions for countries and justify it as a part of DLC then adding less actual features. I hope they improve with the next dlc.

An amazing game for anyone who is into map and history games. "No Step Back" was probably the best update from Paradox in two years, with some amazing historical and alternate history focuses and a great supply system and a tank designer! An amazing game all round, with interesting choices for micro and macro management, the game is at it's finest at the moment and at this point the only thing it lacks is an air system rework!
