Early Access Review
The game is unique. You will not find any game that plays like 7D2D. Most probably the best FPS openworld/survival/building zombie game. Why the best? Because it's the only one. It is the only one that give you such freedom in doing whatever you want. No DayZ, rust or whatever can compare.

Now I'm leaving a very negative review on the game due to the developers who ruined their only baby.
This team is unable to deliver a finished, polished product. They're unable to respect their own dead lines. They do know even know what they want to do with this game. Absolute incompetent game devs. I've been following this game since A11 and this is a complete sh*tshow.

Over 8 years after the first release and the game is still in a broken alpha state. This is a disgrace to the gaming community. The game should be banned from the Steam Store for abusing the Early Access tag. There have been other game devs who - with less money and in a shorter timespan - released a full working title with more content and a much more difficult game to develop.

I remember well over a year ago when The Fun Pimps themselves said 'Ok we're taking way too much time for updates, we will do them quicker'. Since when is A20 worked on? Ah yes 10 months.
10 months for a couple new zombies and weapons skins. None gives a damn about the Twitch integration you have been working on for the past 6 months, because none plays this game anymore. And no streamer would like to show epic gameplay of rock breaking for 30 mins.

Stop changing the basics of your game every update and start taking responsabilities, the Fun Pimps. Finish the game you made millions from before talking about other projects.

Your game is fundamentally broken, unfinished and has no goal at all.

You are a disgrace to the gaming community.

Amazing zombie game. Years after release the devs are still releasing small new (free mostly) content and holding events.

+ Freedom of movement : parkour like it's Mirror's Edge.
+ Deep openworld maps : Just the right size to have a lot of points of interests close to each other. Every street has a little something, a story. And a lot of collectibles.
+ Imaginative killing : Dozens of way to take out enemies - bash them with a club, push them over a cliff, dropkick them into fire, break their legs and crush their skull, shove one's head into roadspikes,...
+ The amount of stuff to be done : Missions, random encounters, quarantine zones, a walk at night, challenges,... There is a lot to discover, and have fun with.

- Wonky melee until level 25+ : low level weapons means it takes a dozen hits on a simple zombie's head. The fast progression system means your rare weapons you upgrade will become useless the next hour. Your foot becomes literally more effective at killing than a low level upgraded purple machete.
- Where will I be when I load my game : I have had a lot of issues with the autosaving system. It does save wonderfully yes, however it will spawn you back in your world at sometimes very absurd places. I've had a case where I spawned in the middle of zombies at night.
- Overstuffed blueprints menu : there is so much content (over 100 blueprints) the menu is a nightmare to navigate through. No good filters, or favorite/quick search if you just want to craft a few medkits at the very bottom of the list.

Overall a very good game. For 12 bucks on sale with its main DLC, what are you waiting for?

Simple yet effective. Lovely low-poly, high visual variety style. The game keeps getting free content updates. You can easily sink a hundred hours on it - and for quite a small price that means you'll get a good bang for your buck. I could list so many good things about this game and the devs, it's a pearl amongst the chaos of current videogame practices.

As a final note, I like to compare this game to a mix of L4D2, Minecraft and Starship Trooper.

Great game ruined by a greedy developer/publisher. Once you go Epic you lose your ethic. Farewell Psyonix and good bankrupt.

Amazing deckbuilding roguelite with dozens (even hundreds) hours of replayability :

3 characters (4 soon) with each several working deck types. A hundred relics to spice it up. Probably the same amount of random events. In 'semi-randomly' generated levels. With 21 difficulty/mutators to find the perfect challenge. Daily Run, Custom Games, Leaderboards. Very polished.

Worth the full price.
