What seemingly is a simple game in appearance, is a rather robust turn-based strategy game where to succeed, you have to adjust your strategy based on the strength and weaknesses of each of the different squads and monsters.

This is another fine addition to the Hexcell series, great for those who love solving puzzles.

A word of caution however... do not be fooled by the Infinite, thinking you'll have never ending challenges. The randomly generated puzzles lack any challenge and have no rhyme or reason or intrigue, and are heavily clued out of necessity.

I really wanted to like this game. And I did like this game. At the start. But it quickly becomes boring and bland. Which is a shame since it is a cool concept that could have been great if the developer hadn't seemingly abandon it. The floating camera will cause you to drop pieces exactly where you didn't want to. There's very little content and things become quickly repetitive, easy, or frustrating as you build this impossible tower which you can't save half way through if you're running short on time.

Final verdict: Purchase it if it's under a $1 and you want to spend a few hours on it before throwing it away.

Besides being fun and addictive to play.... the music. I usually turn off the music on games that I play, but not this one. The music is great and catchy and really ties in well with the levels.

Visually stunning. Not too difficult, but still can make you think and sometimes need a clue. Just wish it was longer than the two hours it took me to complete.

You know you have yourself a good game when you start playing it in your dreams at night.
